KBs POV

"So we're about to become grand parents we O hhay u Nkosi usenzile but then who wouldn't want a sexy grand father like me."

"No friend that girl is not pregnant for Nkosenye but she is pregnant. She's just pining this pregnancy on my son."

"Unamanga!"

"I'm telling you. I won't say anything now. I saw by the way the mother refused for her to come to KZN something is fishy and the parents are involved."

"Yoh hhay let me call you later, boyfriend duties.

She laughs and hangs up.

I go to him and kiss him. I've missed him. He went to a business trip for two days and I felt like dying.

"Someone missed me." He says chuckling.

"Mxm..nawe wahamba iskhatheside ngani."

"Hhaybo khulekani."

"Ungalinge ungbize ngalelo Gama." [Don't call me by that name] I say and he laughs.

"Ok ke sthandwa Sam ngyaqolisa." He says showing me his charming smile. He is holding me by my waist giving me light kisses

"Mara ba-"

"Musa Zulu so this is the reason you've been rejecting me. You're gay." A voice interrupts us and he stiffens. I look at the door and I see the most pink vomit that ever polluted the earth.

This girl is wearing pink from head to toe. I know pink is a good colour but when it's properly coordinated.

Musa turns around annoyed.

"Slindile." Wait he knows her.....

Izwile's POV.

I've never felt so angry and relieved at the same time. I know that the child isn't ours but that doesn't change the fact that my son was lied to and decieved by that girl.

From the looks of it the parents are also involved because they are pushing for the kids to get married. They are planning something but they don't know that I'm already on to them.

If it was under different circumstances this situation would teach Nkosi to be a little bit responsible. That child of mine is so playful. I'm just surprised that he performs well in school and is the president.

I also found out something about Smiso that he is keeping from me. I'll just deal with it when we come back.

Narrated

The Dlamini elders was sitting in the lounge discussing the baby issue. Smiso and his brothers with their families just arrived. The kids were in the cinema room.

"So Mthunzomuhle umithisile?" Snr Dlamini says shaking his head. Nkosi has been a headache since he was born. He surely is his favourite but he won't say it.

"Yebo baba."

"And it's not his chosen one." He asks again amused. Ever since Nkosi was born he has been this character. He's the epitome of trouble wrapped in handsome innocence.

"Iphi lentombi ethwele umzukulu wami?"

"Eyy baba  bayeza khona sizokhona kwenza isiko lekuvikela lengane"[they are coming here so I hat we can perform the ceremony to protect the child]

Meanwhile Izwile was with babNgema.

"I've been waiting for you." babNgema says looking at the clear blue sky.

"They sent me to you." She says looking down.

"I know. Hence I've been waiting for you." He says again. And he shakes his heard.

"She's not carrying a Dlamini. And they are coming today."

"Ok I'll deal with it myself. And makoti he didn't hide it because he's undermining you. Keep that in mind. That man leaves for you. He just has something attached to him like you have your mother's gift." He says looking up and she nods and leaves.

Back at the Dlaminis

The jilis came and they were given rooms to freshen up. Now they're sitting in the lounge talking about how Nkosi should Marry their daughter since she's carrying his child.

The Dlamini were so annoyed but kept it together. From the look of things these people didn't come for the sake of the pregnancy but to make demands on top of demands, bunch of opportunists.

"We can do the lobola negotiations next week before she shows. I'll have to talk to my brother's." Mr Jili says. Honestly he doesn't care that he's daughter is pregnant. He sees a ticket to financing his company that's already on the verge of bankruptcy. The lobola he thinks he's going to charge along the one he's going to be sucking of the Dlamini fortune through his daughter will be enough.

"We-" babNgema enters the house. He's not you typical sangoma. he has businesses just that he followed his calling and remained with his best friend.

He greets everyone and Mrs Jili becomes uncomfortable.

"Singaqala, iphi intombazana?"

Mah calls Izwile to the lounge since she and the other wives were in the kitchen preparing food for the family and the guests.

She was sent to go and call the kids.the two to be specific.

They both came down. Lwa was wearing a long sleeved dress that went past her knees and a head wrap

Lwa stood next to Nkosi. He held her hand and kissed it. They stood there together and remained quiet.

"Ndodakazi, lengane oythwele yalapha ekhaya?" Bab ngema asked her. She felt chills running down her spine.

She looked at her mother. Mrs jili gave her the look, making sure they stick to their story. She sat there so proud already counting the money in her head. Thinking about the trips and clothing she's about to wear thanks to her daughter.

"Yebo baba, ingane engiythweka ngeyaNkosenye." She bowed down again hiding her shame.

"We are going to perform a ritual for you and your child. You will see a snake in the water don't worry it won't harm you since You're carrying our child." Bab Ngema said seriously. The tone in his voice harsh.

Lwa immediately shot her eyes at her mother who also looked terrified.

"Wh...what snake." She asked.

"A Dlamini child is taken to that pond so that the Dlamini's can know and protect the child only if it's a Dlamini child. If not you shall not come out alive." With that said lwa fainted.
