When Scarlet walked through the gate, she started making her way up the stairs by Technos door, but was stopped by the door being thrown open. A concerned, and oddly frustrated looking Techno appeared and grabbed the girl by the shoulders, examining her before narrowing his eyes, "Scarlet, Thank Phil you're alright kid! Now could you please help me get the racoon out of my house!"
Scarlet was about to reply asking what he meant by racoon when she heard a bell sound from inside the house. Her eyes widened in realization and she shoved her way past the annoyed pig man, then practically threw herself down the ladder almost falling completely off it at one point.
"Scarlet, if you hurt yourself I swear on the Axe of Peace I will lock you in the box!" Techno shouted, following her down at a much slower pace.
Once she was at the bottom level of Technoblade base she saw a new hole along the Left wall. There was another ladder leading down but it was one block lower, probably so whoever made the base could hide his new extension. Techno met her at the basement and nodded to the ladder where the bell noise was coming from.
"Go on kid, go get him." The man said, hiding the faintest smile from the Princesses excitement.
Without waiting for him to change his mind, once again the child threw herself down the ladder making Techno scold her again.
Down the ladder was a skinny, lengthy boy with a dirty mop of blonde on his head. He was practically covered in mud, having not been in general society in a while. He would absentmindedly ring the bell talking aloud to himself about something called 'Pitty Primes'. He paid no attention to the ruckus upstairs, since he assumed it was the Pig complaining to Philza about Tommy stealing from him and hiding in his basement. In fact, he was pretty much disassociated until someone literally tackled him to the ground and clung tightly to his back.
"Oy! What the actual-" Before Tommy could continue to shout profanities the girl reached forward and covered his mouth
"Toms, it's very rude to swear in the presence of a princess." Scarlet said in an awful accent.
"Scarlet! You're okay!" Tommy shouted, turning around and giving her a proper hug.
"Awe, cute reunion. I'm moved. Truly touched." Techno said in classic monotone fashion, "But the voices are demanding the child's blood for breaking into my house and stealing my things."
Scarlet glared at Technoblade with a look that could bring the best warrior to his knees. She stood up and protectively placed herself between the much larger man, and the small teen on the floor.
"Techno, Tommy will return the things he stole, and apologize for breaking in, but you can't hurt him or kick him out. Dream is probably hunting us both down as we speak. If he finds us he'll kill us, or worse send us back to exile."
"I find it hard to believe that Exile is worse than death. Scar-" Techno was cut off by Tommy pushing him against the wall. The blood god was very caught off guard, which is the only reason Tommy was able to successfully get his back to the wall.
"You have no fucking idea! You don't know what he did to us there Techno! Every day, every fucking day I wanted to.. I can't even say it." By the end of this explosion the boy was almost in tears. His voice was cracking and he was looking down at the ground, not even putting pressure in his grip on Techno anymore.
Just when Scarlet thought Tommy would get pushed off of Techno and beat to a pulp for trying to over power the Blood God himself, Techno did something completely unexpected. The pig man pulled Tommy closer into a hug. A HUG!
Tommy melted into the embrace and let all of his emotions out. Techno tensed up at the emotional outburst from his younger brother and contemplated pulling away and handing him off to the younger girl, but in the end he didn't. He held the teen and patted and rubbed his back every once in a while. Scarlet stood in the corner of the room watching the two and grinning like a mad man, before deciding they needed a moment alone and making her way up the ladder. She would properly reunite with Tommy later.
