Chapter 21: Doomsday Prep

It was officially the next day, and Scarlet was starting to second guess her decision. If there were people who cared about the country and loved it as their home, who was she to decide that it was toxic? Who was Dream to decide that it needed to be destroyed? Who was Techno to decide that all governments needed to be abolished? This shouldn't be their choice, it's not their home.

Scarlet had thought about what Tommy had said to Techno 'If this is what I've become, I don't want to be me anymore.' She realized that she had told the boys about how L'Manburg was tearing people apart and causing destruction, but she was doing the same by betraying her first friend on the server.

'I've become worse than everyone I didn't want to be!' This also resonated with the girl. She was telling Tubbo and Ranboo not too long ago that Dream was her only enemy, the only person she saw as a bad guy. Now she is living with him, almost calling him dad even! She loved the relationships she built here, and she loved Wilbur and Dream as family, but she could definitely understand why it was such a hard blow to her friends of L'Manburg.

"Scarlet! We have to get to Techno's house, it's almost time for the final step in our plan!" Dream shouted from the kitchen.

Wilbur had left a while ago, dressed as ghostbur. No one knew Wilbur was alive, at least no one with proof, so he was going to make a big reappearance. Scarlet gave him a few good bruises and cuts to make it seem like he's been held hostage. They hoped the others would buy that Dream and Scarlet had been holding him to use as leverage for potions and other valuables. He also will tell them that the princess released him because she felt bad for him. This would hopefully make Scarlet seem like a good guy in some cases, while cementing the fact that she was still on Dream's side, who is still a very bad guy.

"Dream, I can't find my sword! I think I left it in L'Manburg! Do you have a spare?" Scarlet yelled running out of her room dressed and in full netherite.

"Yeah, I have an extra, but we won't be needing them. We won't be fighting. I have a TNT rig set up along the whole area, we will be standing on that and loading the cannons, then activating them." Dream threw her the sword anyways, along with many stacks of TNT.

"Oh, okay." This did make Scarlet feel better, TNT meant that she wouldn't have to fight anyone she cared for, and it was also fairly easy to dodge.

They made sure they had everything, then set off to meet Techno at his house. Scarlet was very excited to see Techno and Philza again, and she hoped they would forgive her for leaving. They didn't know she was the girl in the mask, but Dream had given her permission to tell them since it seemed to really be bothering her.

Scarlet took notice of how early they were heading over there. It was not even 2:15, and they were heading to Technos house. They were going to have over thirty minutes, but it only takes a few minutes to get to L'Manburg. She was really confused.

They arrived at Techno's house, who was running around like crazy making potions and crafting fireworks. This made her smile because it reminded her of when she first helped him, before the butcher's army took him. Techno hadn't noticed them yet, but Philza did the moment they walked in the door.

"Techno." Phil said, looking back and forth between us.

"What is Philza Minecraft?" Techno said, rummaging through chests.

"Turn around" He said again looking at Techno and back to us.

"Oh! Hello!" Techno said looking to Dream "I jumped out of my seat, I figured it wasn't going to be a click through rate thing because last time it was a zombie. Then I turn around and it's 15 million subscribers that have just entered my house. Hello Dream, and Dream mini, how's it going? What's the plan?"
