On the way to Hagrid's hut, I thought about the Final Task. It was going to be on June 24th and the champions would learn more about it a month before then. Then, I thought about hoping to see Sirius next month in March. When I reached Hargid's hut, I saw a hippogriff trotting into the forest. It couldn't be who I thought it was. Could it? Without thinking, I ran after it.

          "Buckbeak?" I asked.

The hippogriff stopped and turned around to look at me. It made happy chirping noises and approached me. I pet it vigorously and I was so happy to see him here. He led me to his herd and I noticed that he had a new nametag. His new name was Witherwings. Making sure he would stay there, I walked through the Forbidden Forest and returned to Hagrid's hut. I saw Charlie making his way there and he began to run to me when he saw me.

          "Ivy!" he exclaimed.

He hugged me warmly and I was rather excited to see him for some reason and even happier to be hugging him, "Charlie! What happened to you?"

He brought me into the hut and told me to take off the towel and my garter belt. I obeyed and he laid it on a chair near the fireplace. Charlie had some suction cup burns on his neck and it went into his shirt. His hands went to my neck and I had some cuts from the gills and I knew I had the same suction cup burns on my body, as well as bites.

"You released the Hippocampus?" he asked.

I nodded, "It saved me and helped Draco and Gabrielle."

"You are so incredible. Only merpeople have been able to tame them. I had a nasty encounter with it," Charlie explained.

"Charlie, it was restrained and bound in seaweed. The poor thing was crying and in pain," I said softly.

"I'm sorry, Ivy. I didn't have a choice," he said.

I touched his temple and my other hand was on his chest where he was injured, "I know. I'm glad you're both alright."

His hands went to my hoodie and I let him pull it off me. He put it on another chair to dry by the fire and I took his waist from behind. Surprisingly, he let me take off his shirt and I saw more burns on his back. Even though we were both quiet, it felt like we didn't need words.

"Why were you attacked by the Grindylow?" I finally asked and noticed his hair was still wet.

He put his shirt on the chair to dry by the fire, "Helping with the docks."

I went to grab Hagrid's first aid kit and Charlie joined me. He insisted on treating my injuries and I sat on the chair across from him. My legs were between his. I watched him as he held gauze against my fang bites and he applied ointment to a cotton pad. He put the bloody gauze between his lips and dabbed the ointment on my injuries. I winced a little and he looked at me.

           "I'm ok, Charlie," I smiled.

He blushed and put a zip stitch bandage around each puncture wound and closed it shut. There was blood on his lips from the gauze he had on my arm. My hand held his face and my thumb brushed against his lips softly. He's really handsome; he's the strong and silent type.

"Let me wipe off the blood," I said softly.

He grinned and licked his lips. I blushed and felt his tongue against my thumb. There was a glint in his eyes and he watched me to see what I would do. Biting my lower lip, I brought the same thumb to my lips and licked it, exchanging his saliva to me. Charlie exhaled sharply and he pulled me to sit on his lap, facing him. I was turning red and he treated my cuts on my neck. My hands on his bare shoulders allowed me to feel how masculine he is. I sat on his lap and he didn't seem to mind.

"How were you able to breathe underwater? These look like gills," he said and bandaged both sides of my neck.

"Gillyweed. Would you like to try?" I asked.

"Really?" he asked and brushed my hair behind my ears.

"Really. It's so different, yet so similar to flying," I explained.

"I'd love to try it with you," he confessed and held my face in his hands.

"You're warm," I said and ran my hands through his hair.

"You too," he said and looked into my eyes.

I put my forehead against his, "Hey, Charlie?"

          He nuzzled me upwards, "Yeah?"

"I think I'm starting to fancy you," I whispered, my heart racing.

"I admire a young woman who speaks from her heart," he whispered back and he closed his eyes as he leaned into my face.

I closed my eyes and kissed him. It felt like fireworks. He moaned softly and put his hands around the back of my head, pulling me into a deeper kiss. Our breath was mixing and I pulled back first. Even though it was a single kiss, we were both breathless and hot. Our arms both exposed goosebumps from the sensation. We tended to each other's injuries from the Grindylow and our clothes were finally dry by the fire. I got dressed with Charlie but I didn't want to go. Before I left, Charlie put in my ears a pair of dragon scale earrings. We shared another small kiss before I headed back to the castle. I went to bed wondering if this was wrong.
