The bus moved slowly as it would reach its destination in a few hours. It contained the entirety of Class 1A, all eighteen students.

Because Aizawa picked the seats:

One one side of the bus, Bakugo sat next to Todoroki. Mina and Kirishima sat in front of them, while Uraraka and Tsuyu were placed behind them. At the very back, Ojirou, Sato, and Kouda sat on the left, while Tokoyami, Shouji, Aoyama, were seated next to each other . On the other side Jirou sat next to Momo and, while Sero and Iida sat in front of them. Denki and Shinsou sat across from Krishima and Mina.

"I'm so excited, I just can't wait~!" Mina squealed.

"Hitoshi and I are excited too!" Denki yelled, provoking a chuckle from Shinsou.

The bus became quiet. There were a few whispers here and there, but that was it.

Momo turned her head to the window. Her eyes focused on Jirou's reflection, who was frowning as she leaned over her phone. Momo smiled, admiring the way she tucked her hair behind her ear after the wind blew it into her face. She realized she was staring at her and blushed. Keep it together, Yaoyorozu, she thought.

Jirou was the kind of person who was born to be on the internet. She liked to hear other people's opinions, catch up on latest topics on the news, and got mad over the smallest things. For example, people shipping her classmates together.

*cough*  mineta x momo *cough*

"What's wrong, Jirou?" Momo asked as the whispers started to die down. Everyone tuned in to their conversation.

Jirou sighed. "Just reading the news."

Tokoyami spoke. "What's it about?"

"Remember that middle school kid?"

"Who?" Todoroki asked.

Jirou sighed again, not wanting to bring up the subject. "The quirkless one..."

The atmosphere instantly became tense. The kid that committed ctrl+alt+delete impacted the whole world. New laws were established to make sure the Quirkless could live equally. Because of him, when someone said the word 'quirkless' all they would think about was Izuku Midoriya. Of course, there was still people that believed the Quirkless should be treated poorly because, well, they were quirkless.

She continued. "You guys know about the letter that was found from his childhood friend, right? It's spreading like wildfire on the internet and now it's on the news."

"I saw the letter too..." Uraraka muttered. "It was about how he was treated when he was alive. It made me cry... really hard. If the people I looked up to told my past-self I couldn't be a hero, I- I don't know what I'd do."

Mina spoke. "I didn't see the letter... What did it say?"

"He was abused by his mother. His so called 'friends', the teachers at his school, and even random people he didn't know all told him he was worthless. And," Jirou was getting visibly frustrated at this point. "To top it all off the person he looked up to the most, the person he idolized, ALL MIGHT  himself told him he couldn't be ANYTHING!"

It was eerily quiet for a few seconds. Nothing was heard except for the wheels gliding across the asphalt.

"And All Might isn't even owning up to anything." Jirou muttered under her breath. "That bastard."

Bakugou uncomfortably shifted in his seat. "What- Like- What are your opinions on the Quirkless?"

All eyes were on him all of a sudden. He wasn't the type to feel bad for anyone. His heart was basically made of steel.

"Their still people, even if they don't have a quirk," Uraraka answered as her glare towards Bakugou didn't waver.

Denki spoke up. "I think, uh- I think me and Hitoshi can relate to him in some way,"

"How so?" Hitoshi asked.

"Well," Denki continued. "Midoriya was blamed for not having a quirk, even though that's out of his control. He was just born that way. Hitoshi was blamed for having a villainous Quirk, even though that's out of his control, too!"

"How do you relate to Izuku Midoriya then?" Todoroki interjected.

Shinsou put his hand on Denki's shoulder. "You don't have to answer that."

Denki smiled at Shinsou, then turned to face Todoroki. "My quirk awoke at my older brother's birthday party and-

And it was at a public pool... "

The atmosphere somehow got even tenser. It was as if no one dared to even breathe.

"You absolutely don't have to answer this if you don't want to," Tsuyu looked at him sympathetically. "But did anyone... pass away?"

He started playing with his hair to distract him from the tears threatening to spill from his eyes. "Well, a lot of people got injured and...

one person. They, uh- they died."

He released a chuckle that sounded painfully forced, "Sorry, I'm straying away from the main idea here. My quirk just awakened at a painfully terrible time. But even so, I was blamed for what happened..." Denki took a breath and forced a smile onto his face to ease his classmates' worry.

"I guess all of us can relate to him somehow." Bakugou said, looking out the window.

The bus fell silent again, everyone pondering over Bakugou's words. He had been acting weird ever since Izuku Midoriya was brought up. Most of them thought that he was just sympathetic with Midoriya's situation, but some of them thought otherwise.

The class glanced back at one another, wondered why they had such an odd feeling.
