Chapter 23: Not Expecting you..

A knock was heard on Bakugo's door. He responded by calling out to them, but he was still answered with more knocks.

Bakugou clenched his teeth. He stomped over and yanked open the door.

"Hello, Kacchan," his eyes widened while Zero greeted him, "could I come in?" He was reluctant, yet he slowly nodded his head.

Zero took a step into his room before he wandered mindlessly around Bakugou's room. He let his eyes explore every inch of the room. However, Bakugou broke the silence. "What do you want from me.."

"Nothing," Zero answered, his eyes glued to the room, "cant pop in and say hello to my love?"

Bakugou scoffed and muttered profanities under his breath. He waited before changing the subject, "Is your plan going the way you want it to?"

He smirked. "It's going according to plan, but I don't think I need to be as stealthy anymore."

Bakugou tilted his head in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"I helped arrest that bitch Endeavor," He started, "And because of that, I was expecting for Pro Hero's to trust me a little more, but they completely turned a blind eye to whatever I do now!"

"Don't they watch you through the cameras?" He asked.

"Of course they do. But, do you think they're going to watch all 24 hours, every single day? Most of the time they just make sure I'm alive and call it a day. Nezu should definitely hire some new people."

Zero suddenly turns to Bakugou, "Kacchan, let's make a bet."

He flinches backwards, but nods his head, "betting on what exactly?"

"Betting on whether or not I'll be able to make All Might disappear."

Bakugou scoffed, "I know you got Endeavor, but that's because he underestimates and thinks he's better than everyone. All Might is a whole different being. And since you got the flaming trash, All Might's guard will be up," he smirked, "I'm betting on your downfall."

"Then, if I do win the bet and make All Might disappear I want something in return."

"Like what?"

Zero tapped his chin, "Hm. If I win the bet you'll have to date me."

His face flushed, "Haha, very funny. And if I win the bet?"

Zero held his head in his hands, slightly shaking his head, thinking for an answer, "All Might would kill me. I would be very much dead."

"Don't do it," Bakugou answered as he clenched his teeth.

"Why? I've already come this far."

"You already got Endeavor. You saved the whole fucking family from him. You saved Shoto. Can't you be satisfied with that?"

"Aww~ Are you worried about me?" Zero cooed.

Bakugo's voice cracked, "Izuku. I f-fuckin.."

Zero quickly made his way to him, letting his mask cascade to the floor when he pulled Bakugou into a hug. "It's okay, Kacchan."

"please don't, please.." he sobbed, tears staining Zero's shirt. He held on tightly to him. He didn't want him to leave.

"I'm sorry," Zero muttered to himself. Making sure Bakugou couldn't hear him.
