Zero stared at his phone.
"9:58."
He looked back at the people behind him. It consisted of the main members of the league.
There were also faces that probably wouldn't be seen after today.
Zero laughed. Most of these people were useless and had a high chance of getting captured. Perfect for distractions.
The only people in the League that he considered mildly competent were Dabi, Toga, Shigaraki, and Twice. Shigaraki was with the boss, so he couldn't tag along with them.
It's a shame, Zero thought. He would have loved to see what I have planned.
He turned his body towards the crowd, rendering the rest of them silent. "Remember what I said. Let Dabi, Toga, and I deal with those special three. Otherwise...
go hunt!"

Bakugou wanted to go home.
He was tired.
He missed Izuku.
He was very tempted to ask Aizawa if he could call his mom to pick him up. Of course, he didn't really have a real reason to go home, so that wasn't a option.
"Let's go, Bakugou." Todoroki's voice broke Bakugou out of his trance.
Bakugou nodded, taking the lead. Todoroki followed closely behind.
Bakugou didn't want to do this fear factor thing. He wanted to say, "No, I'm not going to do whatever the hell this is."
But he didn't. And why was that?
Because of Class 1B's incredible quirk of being a goddamn annoyance. Mostly that kazoo kid. They would just call him a chicken and laugh at him.
Bakugou looked over at his partner. Todoroki was someone that wouldn't get scared easily or talk too much. The thought made him thankful that Mineta was kicked out of UA in the first few weeks of school, because having him around was terrible.
Behind him, the sound of footsteps suddenly stopped. He turned his head and eyed Todoroki.
"Why'd you stop?" He grinned mockingly. "You scared?"
He was met with silence, which worsened his already terrible mood.
Bakugou ran up to Todoroki, and just as he was about to yell at him, he felt it. He felt a presence- no, presences- in the forest around them. It didn't feel like 1B.
They felt dangerous.
Very dangerous.
Both of them jumped as they heard a rustling in the forest. They put their backs together, closing their blind spots, and getting into a fighting position for whatever was there to attack them.
They eyes met two figures. Both of them looked as though they were male. One had multiple scars and a gaze cold enough to make them shiver. The other had a sort of "bunny" aesthetic and seemed to be around their height.
Bakugou dug his fingernails into his palm, using the pain to clear his head. He noticed he was shaking. Was he... scared? No, no, he wasn't. He was just cold. Yeah, just cold.
"We just want to talk," the scarred man said.
"I really don't think you mean that." Todoroki replied.
"We do, actually." The shorter one chimed in. "All we want is a nice, peaceful chat. It'd be a shame for someone to get hurt, wouldn't it?"
As he said this, he turned to his associate. Blue flame sprouted from the purple hue of his burnt hands. The two boys gulped.
In order to mask his fear, Bakugou laughed. "Your voice is weirdly deep for someone as short as you."
"You're right, he's using something to alter his voice." His classmate responded.
"Todoroki." The man with burns spoke.
"How do you know my name?"
"Never mind that, just answer me this one question.
Does Endeavor still abuse you?"
...
Bakugou eyed the villain. He waited for Todoroki's confused response, but it never came.
He slowly turned to Todoroki. Endeavor... he was a hero! Sure, he was rude, but he still saved lives. He would never abuse his children. Right?
Todoroki's expression gave him all the answers he needed. He looked terrified- no, this was more than that. This was a look of pure, unfiltered fear. Bakugou became increasingly more nervous every second. If it only took a few words to rattle Todoroki, what were they going to do to him?
"Don't you want to discover how I know about this?" He walked over to Todoroki and put an arm around him, causing the boy to tense up even more. "Let's go have a little talk, shall we?"
To Bakugou's horror, Todoroki complied.
"Todoroki! They're still villains!" He ran towards them, explosions bursting from his hands.
The scarred man lifted up his hand, and with just a flick of his wrist, created a wall of blue flame. Bakugou began to panic, the stress of the situation clouding his mind.
"The wall can't be that thick because of how long it is. I could probably blast through it." He put his hands to his sides, preparing to launch through the blue inferno.
Just as he was about to jump—
a hand was placed on his shoulder.
