Ellies POV.

After leaving Anna's car and storming inside my apartment I changed into some sweatpants and my own sweater. I can't believe Miles just expected me to just go along with it and meet his goddamn mother? That's so much more then I signed up for and god that whole idea just freaks me out more then I want it too. I do want to go I think it would be cool to see Miles childhood home but I'm just mad he would assume I'd just do whatever he said. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad and maybe he feels bad about it? Did I over react? I texted him that I got home an hour ago but he didn't say anything in respond to my text. I'm going to call him and apologise and maybe he will apologise to me as well.

I pulled my phone out and clicked on Miles cell number before hitting the call button. It rang for a few seconds but soon enough he picked up.

"Hi" I sigh.

"Hey sunshine" he's sorry. I can tell by his tone in voice that he regrets it and it's not difficult to tell that he's sorry. I'm not sure why he calls me sunshine but I'm not going to lie, I kind of like that he has a nickname for me even if it's a bit weird.

"Im sorry, I shouldn't have stormed out but I was mad and I just wanted to say that I'll go and meet your mom" I hope he heard me but my anxiety took over and made my voice quieter then I wanted it to be.

"No don't apologise, I'm sorry for not asking you first and you don't have to go if you don't want to sunshine. It's up to you"

I sat there holding the phone to my ear for a solid three minutes thinking. I couldn't let my anxiety take over what my heart wanted. I wanted to go and I'd be damned if I didn't because I was a little bit scared.

"I want to go" I sigh.

"Good, thank you. If it's okay with you I'm going to drop off your money later today before I forget"

"Okay, I have to go to work but I'll leave the key under the mat for you"

"Alright thanks, I'll see you later Ellie" he clears his throat.

"Yeah" I nod before hanging up.

After clearing things up with Miles I decided to get a few hours in at work since I haven't been there in a while. I'm probably going to get screamed at but Anna said that the boss doesn't seem that upset that I haven't been at work lately so maybe I'll get lucky. I packed my spare outfits in my bag before starting my car in hopes that it wouldn't as cold when I leave. Unfortunately I was wrong. It was freezing the entire drive to the club but I was used to it, My car was old so it almost never worked like it was supposed to.

When I walked inside the landing strip and I spotted Anna shaking her head no but I had no clue what she was doing but I just laughed it off before my boss stepped right in front of me with the angriest look on his face.

"So you think you can just come back here without getting hollered at?" He shouts crossing his arms.

"Well no i knew you'd yell at me... I just thought since I saved your club from not having enough strippers and then getting paid dog shit you'd go easy on me" I cross my arms and raid my eyebrow. I'm done being silent here, I'm not going to let people treat me this way so I'm going to speak up because this is fucking ridiculous.

"You wanna be a smart ass? Well you've got your new little rich boyfriend to pay your bills now so I guess you don't need us! You're fired!" My mouth dropped as everybody in the club stared at me. I felt closed in that place and I needed out. I needed to be home, Wherever that is I needed to be there and not here.
