My phone was ringing some annoying ringtone,
At some ungodly hour in the afternoon.
Waking me up out of a seemingly blissful sleep,
I let out a groan and rashly shut off the beep.I open my phone and read the new message,
It's him who texted saying "Meet me at the park's passage."
A glint of boredom flashed in my eyes.
As I composed a message full of lies.I looked at the person sleeping in my side,
A smile was formed in my lips as playful thoughts popped in my mind.
My eyes gazed back again at my phone reading what I replied,
I felt sorry for not being loyal for a passion denied.I have committed an unlawful sin,
A sin of lingering secrecy like a phone with security pin.
Tears started to stream down my pale face,
As I cupped his cheeks with my trembling hand full of grace. This night I decided to confess my deepest darkness secret.
The secret I have been hiding in my innermost pocket.
The person I'm in love with isn't my boyfriend,
It is actually my boyfriend's bestfriend.
