**Zara, Monday**
"Who. Are. You? Cause you're not the girl I fell in love with!" I sing loudly, grabbing my brush and brushing through my hair. "Who, are, you? Cause something has changed, you're not the same. I hate it. I-"
"Morning" I scream loudly, dropping my brush and practically falling into the bathtub but manage to catch my Balance before the worst happens.
"Kade!" I exclaim. "How did you even get in, Dude? I didn't hear the door-"
"Because you're busy singing like a dying hyena." He answers, pulling my desk chair out and sitting down. "Why aren't you ready for school yet?"
"Oh, I'm not going today." I answer with a smile. "We have family flying to town today. My cousin is finally moving back here with us, and he's bringing my grandma with him to visit. So, in conclusion, I'll be trying to avoid being here at all costs." I explain, turning back towards my mirror and splitting my hair down the middle.
"Why?"
"My grandma is very...Judgemental." I respond, glancing at him before continuing to make two little ponytails on my head. "She doesn't like me very much, because I'm part Cracker. She thinks I have more potential than I claim to have or whatever that means. And she thinks I dress weird, she thinks I'm too pale, my hair is too dark, my thighs are too big, I'm too fa-"
"She's wrong." He cuts me off, and I shrug a little bit. "She's wrong." He repeats, his tone firmer.
"Well, yeah. I guess so. But she's righ-"
"She isn't." He shrugs. "You're coming to the office with me."
"What if I don't want o-"
"I'll get you a Milkshake."
"Okie" I sing, "Let me finish my hair." I murmur.
~~~~~
"Zee Zee!" Andre greets me when I step off the Elevator. "Is that a Milkshake? At 9 in the morning?"
"Milkshakes are timeless." I shrug, taking a sip.
"Whatever you say." He responds as Kade grabs my wrist and pulls me towards his office. I shrug off my jacket and set it down on the couch along with my bag and sit down.
"I wanna cut my hair, Dude." I say, running my fingers through the silky strands.
"No."
"No? You think I should keep it long? It's just really annoyed, I can feel it touching my butt, and that's just creepy." I respond, tilting my head. "You can never cut your hair." I say, staring at the beautiful curls. His curls go down to his shoulders, but he has an undercut, so it looks more..manly I think. I don't know the reasoning behind the haircut.
All I know is it makes him looks scrumptious, hehehe.
"I won't." He murmurs back. "Do you have schoolwork?"
"Maaaaybe. But the question isn't if I have it, it's if I plan on doing it-."
"Do your schoolwork. Zara."
"Okie Dokie."
~~~~~~~~
"Kade." I whisper, reaching across his desk and poking his cheek. He ignores me, and I pout and poke him again. I go to poke him a third time, but he looks up which stops me.
"What?"
"I'm hungry."
"You didn't bring food?"
"I didn't have time to make anything!" I exclaim. "You showed up and dragged me out of my house-."
