Chptr.33

**Kade, March 15th** 

"You look like a five-year-old that's about to get a gold start for being good." Andre snorts, and i shoot him a small glare. 

The Jet lands, and I don't wait to get out of my seat and grab my bag. The Pilot opens the door, and I immediately spot Zara standing excitedly below the jet in a long summer dress, bouncing excitedly on her heels while her hair blows in the warm breeze. 

Fuck, she's so perfect. 

I walk down the stairs, and she waits until I'm only a few feet away before practically tackling me. I laugh lightly, catching her while she wraps as her arms tightly around my neck. 

"i missed you." She mumbles, kissing my cheek and tightening her hold. 

"Missed you too, Gorgeous." I respond, kissing the top of her head. 

"Are we that cheesy?" I hear Andre murmur to Analicia. 

"No. But we should be, they're so cute." She responds with a small whine. 

"See what you do, Man." Andre scolds me, but I ignore him as I let go of Zara. She grins up at me, and tugs one of my curls since I've left my hair out today. 

"How was the flight? Honestly, I don't really care. Let's go get milkshakes, and we can talk about everything that you've missed since you left me here all alone and bored." She says, grabbing my hand and smiling up at me. I lean down, pecking her lips lightly then pulling her toward my car that I had Kayla drive up here for me. 

We get in, and she buckles up then rolls down the windows. "I'm so happy that it's getting warm again. I can finally start wearing my dresses again." 

I'm glad she can wear dresses too, and her skirts. Especially the short ones...only around me, though. 

"As if the cold weather stopped you." i respond, and she mocks me. 

"I didn't wear all of my dresses, though. Now, I get to bring them all back out." She claims. "There's a rooftop pool at our apartment. When it opens, we should go. Then you can swim around all shirtless." She beams. 

"Pervert." I mutter. 

"Says the one dating an 18-year-old." She shoots back, and I glare at her while she smiles proudly at her comeback. 

Annoying ass. 

"I have something for you." 

"Seriously? Your love language is gift-giving. I figured it out. I think...or maybe kind gestures? I can't tell, honestly." 

Is it? 

That would explain a lot. 

"Anyways, what?" 

"It's at my building." I respond. 

"Does it have something to do with all the construction going on there while you were gone? It was a lot. Not like crazy, but a lot of people were in and out with a lot of stuff." 

"You went to my building?" I question, making a turn into the parking lot next to the Milkshake place. 

"Yeah. I did homework in your office because I was lonely. I got to sit in your big boss man chair, though." She responds with a smile. "Now, tell me what the surprise is before I make you crash the car." She threatens. 

The car isn't even moving. 

"You'll see when we get there." I respond, and she huffs in annoyance and gets out of the car. I get out too, not even making it a step before she takes my hand and drags me toward the Milkshake shop.
