**Zara (Eight Years Later) **
"Come on, we're going to be late."
"Who cares about being late?" Kade grumbles back, pulling his shoes on slower than my dead grandmother.
Yeah, rot in hell old hag.
"You want to be late to our kids' parent-teacher conferences?" I scoff. "God, I married a buffoon. A big buffoon that wants to neglect his kids." I mutter quietly to myself. "You didn't even rate my outfit, Kaden. Do you want a divorce, huh?"
He looks up and tilts his head adorably, but then he oogles my igloos.
What a perve, am i right?
"Wanna get pregnant?"
"KADEN!" I exclaim, automatically feeling my cheeks heat up. "You are so shameless. Hurry up and come on before Dar-"
"MOM! DAD!"
See, I saw this coming. The girl is punctual and needs to be on time or she cries.
"She can wait five minutes." He shrugs as he stands up, taking one step and immediately resting his hands on my waist and staring down at me in the way that means he basically wants to rip all of my clothes off and stick it in.
But nope, cause we've got places to be and people to see.
"Let's go, we're going to be late." I beam up at him, leaning on my tippy toes and giving his lips and very quick peck before escaping his hands and leaving the room before he actually starts taking my clothes off.
Happened plenty of times, and it's a bit of an issue.
I get downstairs, smiling at Darciella who is sitting on the couch with a small pout, bubble guppies playing on the TV. "Got your shoes on, Baby?" I ask as I turn into the kitchen and go to the fridge, grabbing a strawberry milk, then three more for Darci, Kai, and Jinx.
These addicts, let me tell you. I have to buy four times as much strawberry milk these days because they drink it all.
I set the four cartons on the counter and shut the fridge, right as Darci comes into the kitchen with her arms crossed, her hair braided neatly down her back and her adorable pink dress flowing around her.
"Mommy." She says very seruously, and I bite my lip to stop myself from smiling. "This is serious. If we're late, they won't let me leave second grade."
"Really?" I gasp, grabbing one carton of milk and opening it, sticking the straw in and holding it out toher. "I don't think that's true, Baby."
"But that's what Khloe said!" She exclaims, taking the milk and taking a gulp. "And I really don't want to do seocnd grade again." She whines, making me giggle quietly.
"What's with all the whining, Princess?" Kade asks calmly as he comes into the ktichen, skillfully picking up Darci and propping her on his hip. "Princesses don't whine."
Um actually if I had to guess, I'd say all princesses do is whine. Just my opinion, though.
"We're gonna be late and I'm going to fail at life." Darci sighs dramatically, resting her head on his shoulder.
"She sounds like you." Kade snorts, grabbing his keys off the counter and looking at me. "Come on, Love." He tucks the keys into hsi pocket and holds his hand out to me. I grin and collect my things before taking his hand, calling out a sweet goodbye to my Mochi baby as he leads the way to the garage.

"Darci is an extremely bright girl,"
I grin excitedly, nodding as I hold Kade's hand tightly under the table.
