**Zara, June 5th**

I stop in front of the Coffee shop, smiling happily and opening the door to let myself inside. I walk up to the counter, smiling at the worker before placing an order for my large coffee and a Sandwich, then paying.

I don't have anything to do today, not until later. So, I decided to walk to the Coffee Shop about twenty minutes from our Apartment and get some coffee by myself.

I'm taking myself on a date, hehehe.

I walk to the waiting counter, hesitating slightly when my eyes land on an olde rman sitting all alone at a table near the corner, frowning as he stares down at his table.

No one should be sad on a gorgeous day, like this. Or alone.

Except my grandma.

She can.

Oops.

I walk over slowly, stopping in front of him causing him to look up. "Hi, Sir." I smile.

"Hello." He greets me quietly.

"I couldn't help but notice you were all by yourself over here. Are you by chance waiting for anyone or waiting for someone?" I ask, and he smiles sadly.

"My wife." He replies, and I beam.

Awwww, I hope Kade waits for me like this when we get all old and wrinkly.

"That's sweet! When is she getting here?" I ask, looking around.

"She's passed away, young one." He responds, and my smile immediately falls.

Whoops.

I'm gonna cry.

Sad old people make me sad.

"I'm sorry, Sir." I say sadly. "Do you by chance want some company? If not, it's okay. But I don't have anywhere to be, and I'd love to hear about your wife if you wanna talk about her." I offer, and watch as his face lifts slightly.

"Of course, Dear." He nods, sitting up slowly.

"Okie." I beam. "Let me go get my order! Would you like anything? Maybe a water or anything?"

"No, I'm okay. Take your time." He says, and I nod happily and walk over to the collecting counter.

"Do you know him?" The girl asks me quietly.

"No, He just seemed lonely-"

"He's been coming here everyday for the last four weeks, sitting in the same spot and looking at that same picture. I've never seen him talk to anyone. Old people creep me out." She says, eyeing him oddly.

She can't be any older than me, probably about 19.

Oh, yeah. I'm 19 now, hehehehe. I didn't even do anything cool for my birthday. But Kade bought me a Rolex, so we could match. I tried to make him return, but he told me f-off so now I have a matching Rolex to his...

"He's just lonely." I respond.

"He's creepy."

Poor guy, he probably just misses his wife.

I just give her a smile and take my order, walking back over and sitting across from the old man.

"Talk all you want, Mr. I'm here to listen."

**Kade**

"She's been here for the last three hours?" Andre asks as I park across from the small coffee shop.
