Saranghae
Chapter 12
ShampooMina thought it would be better if we started singing while we danced to help the process more. It became even more complicated. By the third day I was exhausted. We had the majority of the dance done but most of the time we were so focused on what steps we were doing that we messed up on our lyrics.
During the break I laid on my stomach on the floor next to Hee-Young. I was listening to music. My favorite song to be precise. Shampoo from After School.
I turned over on my back and decided to annoy every one for what they did the other night. I kicked my legs up in the air and started singing. The lyrics were cute and I loved it.
"Shut up!" Sang hissed. I stood up then and raised my voice. I held the phone to my chest as I sang proudly. To sing you have to have feeling and emotion. This song speaks to me. I closed my eyes.
When the chorus came I skipped around in a circle while flopping my arms all over the place. I'm a mess. I heard a bunch of laughing."Oh my God, I love this song." I heard Hee-Young next to me.
I ended up jumping and dancing around. I placed my hands on my hips and swung my hips out flamboyantly as the first rap came. I rapped messily to it. I continued with the movement like I was using a hula hoop. I sang as loud as I could.
"I swear to God. I'm going to throw away your game boy!" Sang exclaimed. I ignored her. She doesn't know where I hide it. I blew a raspberry at her.
I opened my eyes as Yvonne came up and sung with me. She held my hands as we sung the part that sounded deep because it was more dragged out and in a sadder tone.
When it went back to the chorus we continued to jump around and act like we have no boundaries. No boundaries at all. I connected my arm with hers as we twirled around in a happy circle.
This is the norm for the practice room. It all started with war of hormone that one day to make the never ending amount of horrible singing occur in our room.
"Oh God." A deep voice said. I could hear it through the headphones. I jumped when I heard it. I opened my eyes and looked over. Sehun, and all the others were standing right inside the door. Sehun was snickering while the others had wide eyes.
The smile I had dropped and so did my arms. Blush ate away at my skin as my eyes widened. Oh my God. Hee-Young was in hysterics next to me. "Nice going Pabo!" She shouted. I looked over at Ki who had wide eyes. I brought my eyes back to Yvonne who looked just as scared as me. We dropped our heads on each other's shoulders and slid to the ground.
I can't believe we did that. I thought no one was there. "How much did you see?" I asked loud enough for them to hear. I glanced over. Chen came out of the group.
"This much." He said as he copied the hula hoop motion I had earlier. I muffled a cry as I covered my eyes. I dropped my head to my leg. Great. I really don't even give myself a chance to ever redeem myself. I fuck up once, wait a couple of days and do it again and again.
"Well we know they can't dance." Baekhyun said flatly. I fell over to the side. I can't stand any more humiliation. I might die.
"It's only the vocals that can't dance. Don't blame their failure on all of us." Ja-Eui said in a cocky manner.
"Shut up," Hi-Sook said. I looked over to see Hi-Sook glaring at Ja-Eui. "Miss I can barely carry a tune." She said with her hands on her hips. I sat up, this is going to be fun.
"Girls!" Mi-Ok broke it up before it could even start. Hee-Young was into it too. She sighed as Mi-Ok interrupted them.
"Why must you always ruin a good fight?" Hee-Young sighed as she fell back onto the floor. I glared back at Sehun who was still laughing like no tomorrow.
