Chapter 29
Pabo and Jagiya

Japan is loud. I didn't try to smile. It hurt honestly. I want to see him, I won't be able to and that killed me. I sighed and leant back in the car. We have to go to another interview. They're speaking in Korean to us so that's a plus. We have three concerts here and two photoshoots before we go back home.

My body is sore. I'm not going to lie, the idol life is tiring. Way too tiring.

I pulled the blanket over my head and placed my headphones in. Its become a habit now. In the car I sit in the backseat covered in a blanket, watching dramas. Ignoring the unnis.

I must have got through an episode and a half when Hee-Young pulled the blanket off. I turned away from the light. It burned my eyes. Vampire. Its in my blood.  "We're here already?" I asked. I crossed my arms over my chest as a small sigh fell out.

"Yeah, come on, let's go." She said tiredly. We maybe get five hours of sleep each night if we're lucky.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned.

"Okay." I whispered and slipped out. I pulled my hair over my shoulder as the breeze knocked through it. I patted it down with a sigh. We walked into the building. I kept behind Ki. Her tall frame shadowing over my small one.

She was tired and we all knew that. I was tired. She was tired, we're all tired. When we came to the interview we answered the same questions over and over again.

I knew the answers by heart now. "Yes, we're really happy about our debut." I said and ran my hand over the back of the other.

"How did each of you feel on stage for the first time?" The woman asked. We all answered accordingly. I pushed my hair behind my ear. I held the mic loosely in my hand.

We smiled and acted the part, the good SM idols we are. Despite what happens off stage. Despite what love enters our lives, despite the fights.

After the interview, I wanted to walk around Japan's streets. I wanted to be alone. I crossed my arms over my chest and went down the street our hotel is on. I won't roam for too long. Just long enough for my life to stop shaking.

I sighed as my phone started buzzing. I brought it out of my pocket. Leo's calling. I sighed and answered it. I held it to my ear as I leant against the walls of one of the buildings.

"You know Japan is pretty crowded for a girl to walk alone in. You can get lost easily." He said. My eyes snapped up. I turned to the side. People were talking in Japanese and I was left starstruck.

"Leo," I said exasperated. I stood at my full height. "Are you here?" I asked as my eyes drifted through the sea of people. They rested on him, across the street from me.

My eyes widened. Why is he here? He indicated that he was going to answer on the phone. "Wait right there. " he said and hung up. He was standing in front of a stand. He gave something to the person behind the stand and crossed the street towards me. His hair blew out in the wind. My mouth parted in shock.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. He rolled his eyes and pushed my head playfully to the side. My mouth felt like it was touching the floor.

"Do you ever listen when I talk?" He asked and I smoothed my hair down. The wind was really strong today.

"Eh," I shrugged with a small smile. "I try, but you're so boring." I teased. He sighed and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Well you aren't the only one touring right now. Remember?" He said and poked the side of my head. I waved his hand off with a sigh.
