A/n: Hello guys! It feels like forever since I did an author's Note! Anyhu, I'm so happy that I have sparked a curiosity for Tessie and Santi. Tessie is a new character and I was a little worried about introducing her. What I can say though is that she really plays a big part in Santi's story which will be book #4. I would also like to mention that she makes a prolonged exit from this book in this chapter. So no more Santi and Tessie.

Bryce's POV
Lettie's POV
"What did you say to convince her to come over?" Sherry asked me.
I glanced over at Rafael and Charlie. He has his eyes closed and she is on her phone.
"Do you think it's a good idea for her to come here? She didn't want them to know."
"That is just foolish. It's like me getting pregnant and not wanting Reina and Juan's dad to know." Sherry rolled her eyes. "If Santi won't step up don't you think responsible adults should step in for the sake of the kid?"
"I understand what you're saying but did you hear what Charle said? She said they will accept the baby. She did not say they will take them both. What if their plan is to take the kid from her?"
Sherry grunted. "For goodness sake Letitia! Stop complicating simple things! She's broke and she can't raise a child! It won't be a bad thing if Charle and Rafa take the baby!"
"Yuki is broke too-"
"Carlitos is a jerk but he provides for the baby. Do you see Santi holding a crib and diapers?" She gripped my arms. "You're a good person for caring but there is only so much you can do. Let their family take care of it."
I stared at my phone for a moment. I told her that I found an apartment she can take a look at. She was excited. She has never been to Sherry's do she has no idea what is waiting for her. I notified the doorman and told him to let her up to the penthouse and not to say anything further. I hope he didn't.
She's late.
"Remind me to tell you something that is happening between Bryce and I. Maybe you will understand why I'm obsessing over this baby."
"That's the door bell. Will you get it?" Charle asked us.
I went to the door. I let Tessie in. She is all smiles. "I like this already." She walked past me looking around the grand foyer separated from the rest of the house. There's nothing personal about the space. I took hold of her elbow. Should I tell her that Santi's parents are here? "What's wrong chica?"
"Nothing." Her belly has really grown. She's probably more than 16 weeks in. "Do you want to see the rest of the house?"
"I would love to!" She went ahead of me and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Rafael standing in the middle of the living room. She turned to me. "What have you done?"
"I'm just trying to help." I told her.
"You must be Tessie." Rafael approached her. "I'm Rafael. This is my wife Charle." He stopped just in front of her towering a whole foot above Tessie. "I hear you know my son... intimately."
"I... I..." Tessie has never been lost for words but at this moment when Rafa's dark eyes are on her, she is panicking.
Sherry burst out laughing. "Cat caught your tongue?"
Her usual responses to Sherry are gone. She's simply quiet.
"Have you told him?" He asked her.
"Y-yes."
