Bryce's POV
The little girl came at the crack of dawn after q very long night for Lettie. I could not help the tears in my eyes when I held the little one in my arms. Hours have gone by and I am still looking at her with nothing but love. She's very pretty just like her mother.

"She's very still in your arms."  Lettie's mother noted. She sat beside me, close by peeking at the little girl. "She likes you."

I smiled crookedly. "She does?"

"I bet she does." She looked into my eyes. "She told me what you said. It really doesn't matter?"

"No it doesn't. I love your daughter and I am very in love with this little princess in my arms. I meant it."

"Life is full of irony. Lettie was not Jimenez's daughter. It was impossible for me to tell him because I knew he would reject Lettie. I kept it secret but I guess a father can tell. I didn't expect that he would still raise her." She laughed nervously. "Now history is repeating itself. She's reliving my past but the man in question has a golden heart. Thank you Bryce."

She pressed a kiss on my cheek.

"She doesn't have a name." I noted. "Lettie doesn't have a name for her."

"Why don't you name her?" She asked me with a smile and she left me to it. I looked at the little one who is beginning to open her eyes.

"Hi." I feel a need to whisper. I'm not even sure why. Aidan Bellingerre is fond of saying that he softened his tone after fathering two daughters. Maybe I'm already softening up for the little one. "Did you happen to come with a name?"

She's a curious little being. She's just staring at me. I cuddled her really close. I'm terrified of not using both of my hands. She's so small.

"I want to take a picture. I hope you don't mind." I steadily reached into tbe pocket of my pants. I got hold of my phone. I leaned over her and positioned the camera. "Our first selfie."

After I took the picture, I smiled with nothing but approval on my face. It's perfect. I sent it to my mom. It wasn't even a minute later when she flooded my phone with one message after another. She thinks the little girl is cute.

I answered when she called.

"It's a girl! Right?" She asked.

"Yes it's a girl. She arrived at 5:25am this morning. She's so pretty."

"Oh Bryce! Can I assume you are accepting her?"

"Yes!" I answered with a smile, I think I laughed and there are tears in my eyes. "I am."

"You should. I don't think Brody touched Lettie."

"Why would you say that?"

"Because I know I never raised sons who abuse women. I don't think he did it. I'm trying to accept what he said but I just can't."

"If it's true it will mean..." I looked at the girl with a different light all together. "... she's mine."

"I want to strongly believe so. Congratulations my son. You earned this. Where are you? I can come over. I can leave like right now."

"I'll text you."

"Your dad wants to come too."

"It's okay. Come meet your granddaughter." Either way whether it's Brody's or mine, they are grandparents.

"And can we bring Ferrer and Katya?"

"Yes."

"Awesome! It sounds like a plan honey. Kisses. Kiss her for me. See you soon."
