I was staring at the key that Soos gave me as it sits in the middle of the table. I was clueless and confused. If I am not mistaken, this is the key that Bill gave to Soos, it was the day when the Society of the Blind Eye abducted me.

"Why am I supposed to do with this?"

What baffles me the most is when Soos gave it to me and said that he had an instinct that I need this in the near future. As if I can use this key in this house right? Wait... I have an idea. I was about to do it when Mabel suddenly called me.

"Yes? A family meeting? Sure, I'm on my way." An urgent family meeting? That's kinda unusual if you ask me. I went there as fast as I could.

"I'm here!" I announced as I gave the twins a little hello.

"Ah, come in, come in!" My dad said.

"Ooh, mysterious scrolls and potions! Are you going to tell us we're finally of age to go to wizard school? Is there an owl in this bag?" Mabel asked. She was about to open the bag when Dad immediately snatched it away.

"No! I can assure you if there's an owl in this bag, he's long dead. Now, children, do either of you recognize this symbol?" He held up a scroll.

I immediately recognized it and froze. The twins gasped as I remained silent. I haven't read all the Journal 3 but how Dad and Bill met each other? When did it all went wrong? I started to feel anxious and doubted myself. Was it a bad idea to date him? I hate this feeling when it occurred, guilt.

"Bill." Dipper answered.

"Y-You know him?" He was surprised.

"Know him? He's been terrorizing us all summer! I have so many questions and theories." Dipper said.

"Dipper's been pretty paranoid since Bill turned him into a living sock puppet." Mabel spoke.

"The important thing is we defeated him twice." Dipper said seriously. Then, I was there, standing still and kind of nervous. Wow, why is it cold all the sudden.

"Once with kittens and once with tickles!"

"It was a lot more heroic than it sounds."

"The fact that you've dealt with Bill is gravely serious." Dad remarked.

"So how do you know Bill?" Dipper asked.

"I've encountered many dark beings in my time, Dipper. What matters is that his powers are growing stronger, and if he pulls off his plans, no one in this family will be safe!" Ford answered as the twins gasped. But how did he knew him? It's like he's avoiding this kind of question.

"Fortunately, there should be a way to shield us from his mental tricks. A way to Bill proof the Shack. All I have to do is place moonstones here, here, and here, sprinkle some mercury. Let's see, I always forget the last ingredient. Ugh, unicorn hair." He said.

"That's not, like, rare, is it?" Dipper asked.

"It's hopeless. Unicorns reside deep within an enchanted glade and their hairs can only be obtained by a pure good-hearted person who goes on a magical quest to find them." Dad informed us.

"Don't be pessimistic, Dad. I know a person who is perfect for this. She'll react in one... two..." Mabel screamed.

"Grunkle Ford, can I please go on this quest? I am literally obsessed with unicorns! My first word was unicorn. I once made my own unicorn by taping a traffic cone to a horse's head. Are you even looking at the sweater I'm wearing right now?! Not to mention that I'm probably the most pure of heart person in this room." I nodded in agreement. As if I'm so pure, right?
