"So I was saying Wendy-" My conversation with Wendy was interrupted by a scream of a child, we looked and she instantly shuddered when she saw the old mechanical dispenser. It was Mr. Stan persuading the kid to put his coin in the dispenser. Mr. Stan demonstrate on how the old mechanical dispenser works, he inserts a nickel into the slot. I was expecting something entertaining and it was. The old mechanical dispenser named Goldie moved its arm and raised his hat. Seconds later, both of its eyes popped out while grease starts coming out and it screams in agony. It's definitely busted. The boy bursted into tears and ran away.
"Wow, that boy has a new nightmare. Good job on that communication skills, Mr. Stan" I commented.
"Okay, seriously, Mr. Pines. It's time to throw that thing out. Its face reminds everybody of the inevitability of death." Wendy said as I stared Goldie, examining its broken features.
"Yeah, I agree with Wendy. You need to throw that thing out."
"What?! Sure, he's a little rusty around the edges, but old Goldie is a classic show-stopper, like me. Huh?" His hand slipped on the grease, causing him to land his hand in Goldie's Mouth.
"AAAAAH! KILL IT! KILL IT!" He flails his hand wildly but Goldie doesn't come off.
"Don't worry, Mr. Stan, I'm going to kill it!" I grabbed the thickest book under the counter. I ran, charged and hit Goldie with it. It immediately got off. Mr. Stan sighed in relief.
"See, this book has many purposes." I smiled while I held it proudly. Our attention were caught when we saw Soos flirt and it miserably failed. Dipper asked what was all that about. He answered that he tried flirting and that's where Mabel showed up. A little did you know, she dreamed to be a matchmaker this summer that's why she almost know all the people here in Gravity Falls.
"I kinda promised my grandma I'd get a date by the end of the week, but I've never actually been on a date before. You belong on me, out of order sign." He grabbed the out of order sign off of vending machine and sighed.
"Finally, my prayers for a chance to match-make this summer have been answered!" Mabel exclaimed.
"Soos, a little advice. You need to get rich. Or lie about being rich. Outside of that, I don't like your chances." Stan "advised."
"That's such a bad advice, Mr. Stan. Just stay true to yourself. You can find a date this week, I feel it." I said.
"Don't listen to Stan, dude. You're a sweet guy with a steady job and a pickup truck." Wendy scoffed.
"Would you both date him?"
"Oh! Would you huh look at that." Wendy raised the magazine to hide herself.
"In my defense, my heart is already been occupied." I defended. Mabel squealed, her knowing who I am referring. Well, I told her about little details of him.
"Soos, you help us so much, it's time we help you, dude. We're gonna get you that date." Dipper said.
We all went to the mall as Mabel refers it as where the romance lives and fashion styles never dies. We are going to find him a date while Mr. Stan's going to find Goldie's replacement. We watched him "flirt" but I'm gonna say that he needs to improve that skills. Mabel tried her to teach him but I think he took it literally.
We're now sitting on the bench, outside the BeeblyBoop's videogames. Soos was sad about it, he's having a rough time. I tried to comfort him but it doesn't seem to work.
"Don't worry, Soos. You'll find the right girl. You just need to stick with it." Mabel got a stick hand on a toy capsule and it sticks on Soos' face.
