Part 11

They gathered the boys up and headed outside to Sandy's poolhouse. She knew the boys were excited but she wanted to do something. She told the boys to stand by the pool. She told one of her maids to get a camera. She told them to stand straight and hold hands.

"Hell no" Zayn replied looking at Niall who was eagerly holding out his hand

"C'mon mate. Do it for us." Liam pleaded

"Still not worth it"

"Then do it for Sandy. You can't make our best friend sad" Niall said.

Zayn knew he couldn't. "Alright" he said linking hands with Niall and Liam.
Liam who was bit jealous at what Zayn said gladly took Sandy's hand in the other.
Sandy turned to Harry and Louis

"You boys ok--" she stopped seeing Harry & Louis snogging quite roughly.

"Can you control yourselves? You don't see me snogging Sandy like that?" Liam exclaimed. He then blushed realizing what he said.

Louis broke away from Harry's face saying" Hah! I knew you had a thing for her. Don't you Liam?"

Sandy blushed and looked at Liam hopeful.
"Um. Yeah I do. So what." He said shyly.

"Now how do you feel Sandy"

"I feel the same" she said with a blush and a smile.

With a click and a flash, their memories were captured and held forever.

After swimming for about an hour, Sandy told them to get ready for their bike rides.

They started out calm. It was a really beautiful day. It was perfect for a nice calm ride. Harry and Lou were at the front trying to hold hands while riding. Niall and Zayn were trying to bump each other off while Sandy watched her friends and Liam followed along behind her. Everything was great. Nothing could go wrong.

Lou and Haz were getting a bit competitive. They stopped and Niall and Zayn had to brake hard not paying attention.

"Let's race" Lou said with eager eyes.

Everyone looked at each other hesitantly.

"You up for it Nialler?"

"Sure" Niall said.
"Alright me too bro" Zayn said.

"You up for it Harold?"

"Anything for you baby"

"You up for it Payno?"

"Only if Sandy's okay with it" he said while looking at her.

She didn't know what to say. She knew she was a clutz and didn't want to embarrass herself in front of the boys. She really loved today and she didn't want to be a downer so she agreed.

"Alright then. Last one to the park gets to buy the ice cream" Louis announced.

He began to count down...

And they were off. They were speeding down the streets, curving and swerving. Sandy felt so exhilarated. She was having the time of her life with her best friends and Liam. Louis and Harry were pretty far up. She thought to herself that it'd be really cool to beat them. She sped up and pedled as fast as her frail legs could take her. She really wished she stuck with sports. Her anxiety made that impossible. She didn't feel anything right now. She was happy; she was a normal person.

Before she knew it, she past Harry who had a smile on his face while watching Louis ride. She then passed Louis who's expression changed from "Yeah I'm winning" to " How did you get up here?"
Sandy zoomed past and the wind hurt hitting her face but she didn't care. She could see the park coming up and she pedled even faster. She was almost there when she found herself midair. The bike had ran over a rock and it caught in her chain. She was thrown in the air, and before she could react she was smashed into a huge stone in the park.

The boys couldn't believe it. Louis and Harry practically jumped from their bikes and rushed over to her. Niall and Zayn just stood in shock and quickly called the ambulance. Liam was clueless and when he made his way down he was confused.

"What's going on?" Liam asked Niall

"Liam it's alright. Everything will be fine" Niall said with tears in his eyes

"What do you mean? What the hell is going on? Where's Sandy?"

Niall frowned and pointed towards the park. Liam ran and found Louis and Harry hovering over a body. He couldn't see the face but all he had to do was see her shoes and he knew it was her. He was so distraught that he frantically pushed Louis and Harry out of the way and rushed down to her. He sat down and pulled her up, cradling her in his arms. He was crying so hard and screaming at the boys to do something. It was a really hard thing to see. He held her as tight as possible and whispered in her ear "Don't leave me. I-I I'm in l-love with you"

The ambulance pulled up and two paramedics had to pry Liam off of Sandy just to get her on the gernee. They put her in and yelled that only one person can ride in the ambulance with them. The boys nodded at Liam and he ran to her side, holding her hand. The other boys grabbed their bikes and pedled the way they came to go get Louis's car.

They drove to the hospital and ran inside to find a very emotional Liam waiting outside. He told them the doctors made him wait here since he wasn't family.

"I tried calling her parents but they wouldn't answer" Liam said

"I called her brother but he just laughed and told me to fuck off" Louis said with rage filled eyes

"I guess we're all she has " Harry replied

The boys came together and leaned on each other crying. They just hoped their best friend is going to be okay.
