(Y/n) stared in awe at the glistening snow which is currently falling from the sky. For her, it feels so surreal watching the snowfall from heaven down to earth. She extends her arms as if she's reaching heaven; she closes her eyes to feel the cold snow landing on her face.
Even with her eyes closed, she could sense someone was hovering over her. Intrigued by her companion's antics, (y/n) opened her eyes. A mesmerizing set of purple orbs greeted her. Those purple-hued eyes are definitely out of this world. It is as if someone put a galaxy in his eyes.
"You'll catch a cold if you stay like that for a while," said the tan-skinned guy who accompanied (y/n) today. The snow rustle beside her—signifying that her companion shifts positions.
Talk about ironic! He's the one who's telling (y/n) to stand up already, and yet he did the opposite of it.
"Idiot. You're the one who is telling me to stand up, yet you are laying down," (y/n) remarked. The bleach-blonde-haired guy just chuckled at her remark as if it was nothing to him. One thing that (y/n) like about him is how his laugh resembles a beautiful symphony. Mozart and Beethoven's pieces can't even beat Izana's symphony.
"Well, you can't blame me... Just like you, I also find sanctuary watching the snow falls," he solemnly replied as he slowly moved his legs and arms.
"What are you trying to do?" (y/n) asked when she noticed his subtle movements.
"A snow angel...out of my own body?" he replied.
Silence reigned between the two of them--maybe because there's nothing to talk about, or maybe being each other's company is enough. Well, there's no doubt that they find each other's company comforting. The funny thing is that they, the two misfits, became each other's haven and comfort.
"Izana...you're going to meet your siblings soon. Aren't you nervous?" (y/n) asked without glancing at the tanned-skinned guy.
He sighed heavily.
Growing up in an estranged family, Izana always wanted to experience familial love and care. It has been his dream all along, and it is already within his reach.
"This guy never failed to impress me."-that's what (y/n)'s impression of her best friend.
"Yeah. I'm quite nervous. I can't help but think those people might not like me. You know, big bro has younger siblings," he said as he breathed heavily.
(Y/n) cannot blame him for feeling nervous. Being part of an already complete family is a new environment and experience to Izana. (Y/n) knew that even if she is in his shoes, she would also feel nervous joining such a family.
"I'm sure they will treat you well. You'll do great, Izana," (y/n) assured him. That's the only thing that she could think of to ease him. After all, words of comfort are the best thing to say when someone's nervous. And, she knew that Izana will be able to adjust well.
