"But who waged his time? Is it President Izana again or Manjiro Sano?" Ran asked Kakucho as they walked in the hallway of their department's building. Kakucho is already annoyed with Ran and the other S-62 members because they bombarded him with questions. Questions that Kakucho finds hard to answer. Kakucho also had a lot of questions, but Izana didn't give him answers.

"Stop asking me!" Kakucho shouted in frustration. He's already hammering his head to think of plans to prevent another gang fight.

"Think. Think, Kakucho Hitto." Kakucho encourages himself to think of a plan. A plan that is vital to stop the impending fight.

"You two fought again? Oh, God! Why must the two of you be so prideful? One of you should compromise or initiate peace talks at least."

Kakucho stopped in his tracks when he overheard the conversation of two ladies who passed by him.

Kakucho's eyes lit up. He found a solution.

"Ran, go get Mucho. We'll initiate talks with Toman. Most especially with their Vice President." Kakucho instructed, which made Ran arch his brows. "Also, Don't alert Tenjiku yet. Let's finish negotiating with Toman first." Kakucho added.

"You're going to defy the president's order?" Ran clarified.

"No. I'm just going to save Izana's impulsive ass from trouble," Kakucho replied before walking away.

(Y/n)  heavily sighed as she put down her phone. Izana hasn't called nor texted her for a week now. He always does that whenever something comes up. And that shit is making (y/n) anxious.

"You're doing it all over again, Izana. You're always leaving without saying a thing."

(Y/n) hugged her knees as she leaned her head on the headboard of her bed. She was supposed to worry about her upcoming exams tomorrow instead of Izana. But, she couldn't help but worry about the lad. The more she tried to divert her attention, the more (y/n) became distraught.

The sound of the door creaking pulled (y/n) from her trance. (Y/n) glanced at her doorway, and there she saw him.

"You did it again, Izana Kurokawa." (Y/n) greeted him in a cold tone. (Y/n) stepped down from her bed and walk towards Izana. "What did I do for you to do the same thing over and over again?" (Y/n) asked.

Izana remained silent.

"Tell me!" (Y/n) shouted. (Y/n) made herself clear to Izana. She loathes people who suddenly leave her without any farewells. She hates people who leave her all alone.

"I-I know it's my fault that I poured all of my attention to Mikey that night. And I dismissed you without realizing why you go to the store..." (y/n) admitted what she thought was her "mistake."

"But...that is not a valid reason to leave—" (Y/n)'s words were cut off when Izana pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry, love."

"There you again,"

"It's not you—"

"Please don't say that cliché line: 'It's not you. It's me.' That shit is making me sick to the core, Kurokawa."

Izana chuckled lightly.

"Gang affairs. It's pretty dangerous. So, I need you to stay out of it."

"Kakucho and the others—"

"I didn't tell them a thing. I took 'them' down on my own... those shitty hebis."

(Y/n)'s eyes widened at Izana's last statement. The word. "shocked" isn't even enough to describe what (y/n) felt. It was as if cold water had been poured on her because of what Izana had said.
