It may not be valentine's day anymore but at least you're not reading (another) sad* chapter on a happy day so... there's that. It's not all sad tho, it's still a valentine's day special... but yeah
* sad but not depressing... also filled with DRAMA
So this is it... the final ch... just kidding haha i don't know how many chapter are left on part 2... let's say 4 more... still deciding.
But actually, this is it, this is the chapter that started it all, back in June last year I started writing this, what was the first thing that inspired me? That scene of Ricky and EJ in the hallway on the valentine's day episode. I thought to myself: what if Ricky and EJ become a thing? What if this is the perfect time to tell my story? As some of you may know, most of Part 1 was based on things that happened in my life, I tried to write about it since 2018 but failed... until Ricky and EJ came in and turned this into what it is! 22 (23 with this one) chapters written now and here we are!
Obviously since I wrote this 8 months ago I had to rework some stuff from a lot of punctuation issues to actually changing the plot to tie with the things that are happening at the moment in the story... fun facts/bts at the end of the chapter ;)
Whether you're here since part 2 started back on the holidays or since the very beginning with the prologues in July... I appreciate all the support you have given me, seriously, and thank you for still reading it even if my schedule doesn't let me post more frequently *crying emoji* BUT ENOUGH INTRODUCTION AND TALKING FROM ME, YOU CAME FOR A NEW CHAPTER!

"Yes... but didn't last very long... it died after... that night."

"Welcome back, Ricky's arm." Nini said touching the now healed arm. "I'm going to miss seeing you with the cast."
"I'm not, I'm happy that I don't get to hear more of those Devon Hanson jokes." Ricky replied annoyed.
"It's Evan Hansen." She laughed. "You know what day it is?"
"Oh gosh." He rolled his eyes. Valentine's Day... I hate it with all my soul.

"Hey you," James approached EJ as he got off his car. "Happy Valentine's Day." He kissed the boy on the cheek.
"Hey." Valentine's Day... my first one with a... boyfriend? Still unclear.
"Have you heard? they finally took Ricky's cast off." Both guys (especially EJ) have been worried about Ricky since that night... both feeling bad about not catching him.
"Yeah, Ash told me."
"Have you talked to him?" James still doesn't know what happened between Ricky and EJ but he's still supportive of EJ trying to get his friend back.
