Second semester of sophomore year starts at East High... Ricky comes back after winter break now to deal with the c...
"This year we have to get Ricky a girlfriend, I don't like seeing him all alone and miserable." Gina said
"Or boyfriend." Big Red said out of nowhere, getting a look from everyone in the group. "What? You never know."
"Fucking love switch, is it that hard to fall in love? Don't mean it in a bad way, but I just want him to be..." Gina said.
"Not so single?" Nini replied, knowing DAMN WELL.
"Yes!"
"I'm going... outside for a minute." EJ announced and walked to the door.
"Okay?" Ashlyn said and got the group together. "How's the RJ plan going? Any ideas? I'm honestly getting tired of the tension between them." She said whispering.
"Gosh, yes, and honestly I don't think they're fighting because they like the same girl." Carlos said.
"You think? One of them should've made a move by now, and neither of them did." Gina said.
"Who was the girl anyways?" Red asked.
"It was rumored it was Lily." Carlos replied.
"Ricky likes Lily?" Red said. "Oh."
"EJ likes Lily?" Ashlyn said at the same time. "Oh."
"Exactly, besides, I think EJ and James are, or might be a thing."
"After the cast party last month, yeah, I saw that coming."
"Going back to Ricky and EJ, what if... no, it's dumb, forget it." Seb made a whole theory.
"What?"
"What if one of them likes the other and got rejected?"
"I honestly believe that more than the girl thing." Carlos replied.

Ricky was chill checking his socials, a bit sad that he's lonely on valentine's while watching other people's pictures...
"Hey," EJ said coming out of the room, it's the first time he actually talks to Ricky since... the hospital. "Can we talk?" Ricky just stared, a confused stare.

"I-" Ricky was interrupted with the ring on his phone, it looked like it was about to blow up from all the notifications. It was a post from GW... about him.

"Ash, I think I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna tell Ricky how I feel."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes... but should I? Now I'm doubting." Red covered his face.
"Red, you've been saying this exact same thing for 3 weeks now, you're gonna tell him at some point... I hope."

"I feel so bad, like really bad" EJ said almost crying. "Something happened, I really can't tell you what exactly. But let's just say we're not on speaking terms right now."
"Yeah, I know that, everyone does, wasn't it because you two had the same crush? 'Cause you know, everyone knows that story, but many of us don't really buy it."
"Well..."
"It is true then? I mean, GW says a lot of bullshit but I was doubtful about that one, but you don't talk to me to confirm or deny it." She said a bit mad since her cousin basically stopped talking about this kind of stuff.
"I told GW we had the same crush so they don't suspect" He looked down ashamed after confessing. "But now I wanted to do a good thing for him, and to make him realize how good he is, if he hand't react like that I would've told him it was me and, I don't know, forgive me somehow?"
"Well, it clearly backfired. He just said he'll skip school, this really freaked him out" She crossed her arms. "And now he isn't talking to ANY of us, he thinks maybe one of us did it."
"Oh."
"Yeah, oh"

"I know it may be dramatic what I'm gonna say, and I don't mean in a romantic way but..." Tears started coming down. "I feel like I've lost one of the greatest things that ever happened in my life." Ash hugghed EJ tightly, a very much needed hug.
"I'm leaving, and you should too." Ashlyn said after a while.
"Fine, I'll go."

"Stay out of it... stay out of it... I fucking hate triangles, even more when I don't know which side I should be in." Ashlyn said to herself, knowing damn well EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERY SINGLE THING.
(she didn't know it wasn't just triangle, it's a whole damn hexagon at this point)

This chapter is going to be a special one for me... since this is actually the very first chapter I wrote for this story like 8 months ago, obviously it was a rough draft and I had to rework some stuff to make it make sense, but I like how it's looking so far, can't wait for you to read it!
