"Who's speaking?" The operator on the other side asked. 

"Olient Roger Fen, sir."

"You should know by now that, that is not permitted."His voice was cold. Fen was taken back.

"What? We are under attack and are being slaughtered! We need backup!" His voice rang with desperateness as he held onto the gun with the other hand, his finger off the trigger but ready at any moment.

"But you aren't dead yet, are you?" Fen's hand dropped the radio and he looked at Davis who was loosing consciousness and then back at the battlefield again.

"We are your people. The moment you give up on us, the moment we loose. Get your asses over here!" Fen hung up the radio and held onto Davis' hand.

"Hang in there!" He squeezed his hand. 

"Do you think we'll go to heaven?" Davis asked.

"What? Of course!" 

"That's what Ms. Brown said. "You are doing a good thing here." She said. "Don't forget that." Its easy to forget though. How many men have I killed?" Davis hissed at the thought.

"I wouldn't even be allowed to view the gates of heaven."  

"That's crazy talk Davis!" Davis grabbed Fen's arm. 

"Don't forget that." He spoke clearly. "You're fighting for the future." He smiled. Fen watched as his friends grip lessened and his hand dropped. 

"Don't you dare give up!" Davis laid down. 

"I can't move, Fen. I don't want to even try." Fen wanted to help but more fire and people coming his way stopped him. When the sun rose the fighting had ended. And it was silent.

"Awarding the medal of honor to Darge Fen and Montient Jones is Kilo Adams." 

"These two men carried their friends back to safety in a moment of great panic. And made sure they got home safely." It had ended. The war. The hardship that they had to face. So they thought.

The third spot was empty and their hearts felt the absence. 

The two women held each other tightly as they cried.  Due to the amount of deaths in the 5 reg yet again, they were buried slowly.

"We'd like to mention the brave souls that did not make it back. Greg Gilligan, Michel Porter, George Michel, Evan Terrence, Rider Nos, Alexander Lerant, Brendan Sydney, Liam Collins,John Adam, Oliver Black, James Hamilton,Benjamin  Green, John Smith,Lucas Brown,James Johnson, Elijah Wilson, Henry Nelson, Mason Lee, Ethan Moore, Logan Jackson, Levi Martin, Jack Pulant, Aiden Walker, Scot King, David Scott, Leo Hill,Isaac Baker, Jaxon Carter, Andrew Roberts, Eli Hudson, Nolan Christian, Cameron Fulton, Landon hunter, John Davis, Easton Cooper, Angle Roman, Greyson Jordan, Dominic Austen, Xavier Brooks. More men have yet to be found, when they are we will add them to the list. Thank you." 

And with that the ceremony for the five reg was over. 

Jones and Fen made their way down. Linda and Georgia met up with them. 

"Thank you." Linda hugged Fen. Fen hugged her and held his tears back. 

"Georgia." Linda moved over. 

"Linda always said the one thing she regrets was not marrying him." Georgia got on one knee.

"I won't make that same mistake." She held back tears and continued. "Will you marry me Roger Fen?" Fen smiled and helped her up.
