'Happy you to death' the virus lives up to its name, it turns even the saddest of people happy, but like all viruses; it's ending is not the best. Though now most of the planet are mutated zombies, but those who haven't been infected yet? Well, we're trying...
"Someone grab him and LETS GO!" I yelled and slightly nodded towards the 22 year old known as nick. He was slightly limping from recently tripping over and grazed most of his legs; not enough to draw blood, but enough to slow him down significantly. Luckily, I heard someone respond and pick him up, probably William or Darryl seeing as they were the strongest in the group.
"Aww why don't you carry me like that? I thought you loved me." Zak fake whined, Darryl picked him up. Then i heard a voice shout from beside me, "theres no time idiots! We have to get back before we're all dead meat!"
Thats when i turned around and slightly chuckled."You guys go ahead, I'll hold them off" I told them as I got my crossbow out. The man beside me looked back in concern, but knew it was for the best. He quickly bellowed for the rest to follow him through a shortcut, leaving me to take care of a hoard of creepily joyful mutants.
Their faces were in twisted smiles and practically skipped to their victim. There were no real way to destroy them, yet at least. All you can do is hope...
