Ship: flower husbands

Prompt: after the thousands of years scott has been alive, he's never learned how to dance. Jimmy changes that

Notes: I can't dance.

"Really?" Jimmy laughed. He was astounded, it was their 10th anniversary and only now did jimmy know that Scott couldn't dance.

Scott looked down in shame, "done blame me, elven courting doesn't have anything to do with dancing like most other rituals do!" He tried to justify his answer, but it was no use. He was right though, most rituals in any other religion included dances, ceremonies and celebrations, but a elven rituals were significantly different.

Jimmy couldn't believe his ears, immediately he had decided to change this. Standing up, jimmy took his husbands hand and directed the other into a pose. One hand clutched his husbands, stretching forward as the other led to Scott's shoulder. Now, Scott wasn't an idiot. He knew what his partner was doing, he's knows Jimmy for centuries, the man hasn't changed. However when they started moving Scott was lost. Everything felt weird and new, Scott didn't really like new.

Jimmy led, of course, and Scott tumbled next to him. His head was glued to the ground as he watched his foot work, hoping to not stand on jimmys foot. Soon, he heard the faint chime of music. It seemed cod, Scott hadn't heard it from anywhere before.

"This song is a very old track," jimmy pointed out, he's known his husband long enough, "it's mainly played at weddings and funerals."

Scott scoffed, "both and wedding and a funeral? That's a bit depressing isn't it?" Jimmy just shrugged his shoulders.

"The song is called til death do us apart, it's kind of fitting with both ceremonies."

The evening ended with both Scott and jimmy worn out, Jimmy feet hurt from Scott stepping on him and Scott felt embarrassingly shy. The both of them flew back to the cod empire, where they took off their formal wear and jumped into bed.
