After making another small detour to a very popular fast food chain, Aubrey is surrounded by food, she felt like she had been starved for a week.
"Someone worked up an appetite" Yoongi grinned behind the wheel as they pushed on towards Aubrey's father's house.
"Well someone spent up all my energy" she smirked, and playfully sucked her fingers slowly.
"Stop it, I don't want to be distracted while I'm driving" he said as he eyed her lips wrapping around them, she giggled as she fed Yoongi some fries whilst his hands were occupied on the steering wheel.
Arriving at her father's home, Yoongi parked on the curb, he was slightly suspicious of the aura of the house, he sniffed the air as he unbuckled his seat belt.
"Aubrey.. stay here, something's not right" Yoongi sniffed as he got out of the car.
Locking the car with her inside Yoongi proceeded through the gate and up the path to the front door slightly ajar, in a breath of a whisper Yoongi called out, but not a sound had returned.
The scent he had caught was wretched, but he pushed through it to the kitchen to find Aubrey's father in a pool of his own blood.
Leaving immediately to rush back to Aubrey he caught his scent before he saw him, Namjoon was trying to open the doors of Yoongi's car.
"Get away from her!" His voice was almost a roar.
Namjoon didn't even turn around to face him, he simply elbowed the glass making it shatter all over the interior, as Aubrey shifted helplessly into the back seat Namjoon groaned in frustration of being unable to reach her before Yoongi intercepted his plan.
As Yoongi apprehended Namjoon by the scruff of his collar, he threw him aside away from the car, he could hear Aubrey's sobbing, she was terrified and Yoongi could tell why when Namjoon faced him directly.
Namjoon's eyes were blood red, he was feral and enraged as he snarled at Yoongi, his inner beast tampered with, his genetic make up altered somehow. This wasn't natural.
Lunging forward, Namjoon had Yoongi by the throat, lifting him in the air whilst Yoongi thrashed his arms, claws drawn as he came in contact with his skin.
Watching the blood dripping from Namjoon's flesh, Yoongi's eyes grew wide as the male laughed in his face.
"You think you can beat me little thing?" Namjoon growled, throwing Yoongi to the dirt.
Aubrey's screams pierced Yoongi's ears, his female watching in horror as Namjoon gets the better of him.
Scrambling to his feet, Namjoon reached out, tearing at Yoongi's arm as he reached for the car door.
Yoongi knew he wouldn't be able to tackle him alone not knowing what Namjoon was capable of, he would have to flee now and fight later, he had to get Aubrey somewhere safe.
