Time stood still for the couple, they basked in the glow of their recent good news, morning dawned as Aubrey's small sleepy breaths blew against Yoongi's chest making his hairs stand up.
In that silent moment he knew there was nothing more beautiful in his life, his mate was pregnant, even after the solstice had ended, he was so lucky.
To have her.
And their unborn child.
Yoongi held Aubrey as close as he physically could, revelling in his bliss as she slept in his arms, his knuckles brushed over her flat taut stomach excited for her to start growing.
Aubrey was oblivious to the sweet caresses of Yoongi's hands roaming her navel as she was still deeply dreaming, in her own world.
A crash sounded as the bedroom door slammed open revealing Summer with a face of thunder.
"Why didn't you tell me?!" She yelled, and Yoongi growled at her for waking Aubrey up.
After Yoongi made himself scarce he headed to the kitchen, where he was about to give Hoseok a stiff talking too about secrets and keeping them, Aubrey and Summer were left alone.
"So we're both pregnant.. at the same time"
"So much for a fast Lycan transformation gestation" said Aubrey as she sat on the Livingroom sofa.
"Tell me about it, but I think now that I'm pregnant, it feels right this way" Summer smiles.
"You didn't really have a choice, your baby wasn't exactly planned" Aubrey motioned to the now thoroughly healed bite that had disappeared completely from Summers neck.
"I don't like the thought of being fucked like a dog, by a dog" she chuckled. "I like to feel a man's body under my nails"
"Don't pretend you don't like it from behind!" Yells Hoseok from the kitchen area and Summer just rolled her eyes.
"Hey! Stop eavesdropping and bring us snacks!" Summer yells back.
As the two basked in their pregnancy glow, the men looked on in adoration. They could never do this, put their bodies through so much just to produce a child, that is why they always say the female of the species is more deadly than the male. Men may carry the masculine bravado, but women carry children.
Disturbed from their peace, loud howls could be heard all around the village. Distance screams caused the hairs on the back of their necks to stand as they all eyed each other in confusion.
"What the hell is going on?" Hoseok muttered as he made his way towards the window, twitching the blinds to get a view of the disturbance outside.
"That fucker! He must have tracked us somehow" spits Yoongi over Hoseok's shoulder as he glares through the gap.
"Yeah but Aubrey is masking. That means he's hunting you" Hoseok gulped as he looked to his elder brother.
"GET OUT HERE YOU FUCKING MURDERER!" Yells Namjoon as the pack of four behind him wails and howls aggressively. "You're under arrest for the conspiracy and premeditated murder of the Alpha! Turn yourself in and we won't kill you!"
