The journey was going to be a long one, Yoongi was determined that he would flatten his pride to keep Aubrey and his baby safe, if his father wanted to knock him down a peg or two, Yoongi would take it.
Yoongi didn't want Aubrey to drive but he didn't really have a choice, he was exhausted and they still had a long way to go, but when they stopped to fill up the tank they changed positions, with Aubrey at the wheel.
Yoongi felt anxious, trying not to fall asleep so he was alert at all times, but eventually he passed out in the passenger seat against the window.
Aubrey sang along quietly to the radio as she drove, tapping her hands on the steering wheel in rhythm to the music.
She drove a little longer than she was supposed to, she couldn't wake up Yoongi. He looked dead tired and she thought she had put him through enough stress as it was, with Namjoon tailing them.
Traffic came and went until Aubrey ended up on an old back road somewhere, the gps was also confused, maybe she had made a wrong turn somewhere.
Now the sun had set, she furrowed her brow trying to make heads or tails of the app on her phone, but the signal was very weak, Yoongi definitely wasn't going to let her drive ever again.
"Yoongi.. I think we're lost" she breathed not really trying to wake him up, just contemplating what to do next as he slept beside her.
"I knew I should have driven," he interjects.
"Were you awake this whole time?"
"No baby.. come on let's switch" Yoongi removed himself from the passenger seat and moved around to Aubrey as she also stepped out.
"Hi" She smiled at his dishevelled hair.
"Hello beautiful" Yoongi pressed Aubrey up against the car, covering her now ice cold lips with his.
"I don't know if it's me or my new hormones from the baby talking, but I feel like daddy needs to punish me for getting so lost." She spoke to her tummy.
"Did you just call me daddy?" Yoongi smiles down at her, completely missing her attempt at dirty talk, solely focused on his new title instead. "I won't punish you, but I will take care of you."
Lifting her by her thighs to sit on the frozen bonnet of the car, he leans in, spreading her knees with his hips as he reclaims her lips with his own.
The high beam of the head lights light up the path behind them as their silhouettes dance together on the dirt road.
Aubrey's teeth start to chatter together as Yoongi presses his clothed crotch against Aubrey's heat, begging to dive inside her, but as soon as he felt her arm quiver against his neck he had to get her warm.
"Come on it's cold, I don't want you to freeze" he places a kiss on her forehead as they continue to switch sides and continue on their journey.
Eventually too tired-stricken to stay awake, Aubrey shifted into the backseat of the car, trying to get comfortable, sleeping against the window was too uncomfortable.
