As Alex and I walked through the twisting hallways towards the kitchen I told myself to ask him to make a map for me later.

We passed multiple people, some that looked familiar, and some that looked almost exactly like the last person I saw. Which was definitely weird.

"This is going to sound really weird, but I think I'm going crazy."

He put his hand on his chest and gasped, "No!"

"Yeah I know right, crazy. But was there perhaps two of the same people that just walked by?"

He started laughing and said, "Oh you mean Josey and Eli? They're twins, almost completely identical."

"Oh good, so I'm not going crazy."

"I wouldn't say that."

I hit his arm and we kept walking.

Finally we reached the kitchen and I couldn't help but notice how loud everything was compared to last night.

"You know what you're an idiot Chris. I mean honestly, I have to save your arse for everything. No thanks or no change. Just an I'm sorry and I won't do it again. Well you know what I'm done with the bloody 'I'm sorrys,' change your ways and I'll help you get out of a mess. But before then, ask someone else." Kenny came barging out of the kitchen and as we walked in I saw a darker haired boy, shirtless, throw an apple across the kitchen and it slammed against the wall, splattering.

"Christopher James Meyers if you don't clean that up I'll sick your father on you!"

"Oh bloody hell Lianne, shut up." He went to storm out of the kitchen but Alex caught his shoulder.

"Get off me."

"Chris you should listen to him."

"Oh like I should listen to you?"

"Well you should listen to someone." Alex growled. Alex looked so concerned and stern, I wondered what was going on.

"Yeah well good luck with that." Chris shook Alex's hand off and stormed out of the kitchen.

"I'll be right back." Alex told me before running after Chris.

"What was that all about?" I asked Lianne

"Chris has some problems and Kenny is sick of fixing them for him. That's all I'm going to say."

"Oh." I looked at the mess on the wall. "Where are the towels?"

"The towels?" I motioned towards the splattered apple on the wall and she shook her head, "Darling it's alright, I'll get it."

"I insist." She handed me the towel and nodded her head in satisfaction when I had finished and thrown away the leftover apple.

"Thank you my dear, would you like some pancakes?"

"Yes please." She put two pancakes on a plate and handed it to me. I heard a crash upstairs and looked at Lianne.

"It's okay. You get used to it after awhile. Just make sure when something like this happens, don't get into the middle of it."

"Duley noted." She chuckled and turned back to the stove.

"Lianne, I'm hungry." A tired, high pitched voice said from behind me.

"Goodmorning Gracie, would you like some pancakes too?"

The little girl climbed up into the chair next to me and nodded. She was in Frozen pajamas and held a stuffed reindeer. Her hair was a frizzy mess of long brownish-orange curls. A ginger.
