Having food poisoning stinks.
Almost 4 days after I stopped throwing up I still felt like crap.
The only good part was Isaac rarely left my side.
I'm going to dinner at his house today with his family and to tell you I wasn't nervous would be a complete lie. I was freaking out so much and sadly Misha was busy so I had to resort to Chris to help me get ready.
"I like the other one better." He told me. To be honest I liked the other one better too. So I decided to wear a teal blue dress with the creme colored belt.
I had already done my hair and makeup so once I found my silver flats I was ready to go.
"You look beautiful." Chris said and he wrapped me in his arms. Some of my nervous butterflies went away and I melted into him. He smelled like milk chocolate, I don't know why but he did.
"Thank you." I mumbled into his shirt. He kissed the top of my head and I heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll walk you down." He grabbed my hand and we walked down the stairs together.
I opened the door and Isaac was standing there in black dress pants and a white buttoned down shirt tucked in. He held out a bouquet of purple flowers to me and smiled.
"You look beautiful." He said taking my hand.
"Thank you."
"Alright you two go and have fun, but make sure she's home on time." Chris narrowed his eyes at Isaac.
"And what time would that be?"
"3 a.m."
"Wow." I said rolling my eyes.
"I don't know Chris, that might be tough. Dinner at my house with my parents gets pretty crazy."
"I'm warning you." Isaac laughed and led me to his car. He opened the door for me before walking around to the other side and sliding into the driver's seat.
"So is Chris playing the big brother role?"
"I guess so." We both laughed and Isaac turned on the radio.
I started singing along to a song that I liked and Isaac stared at me when we were at a red light.
"What?" I asked
"I didn't know you could sing."
"I can't."
"Oh yeah, of course." He scoffed
"I'm serious. I can't sing."
"You're a really good singer, a great singer." I blushed and looked away.
"I know you're blushing and I find it incredibly adorable how clueless you are about how good you can sing."
"You're so mean to me."
"I am not." We pulled into the driveway of Isaac's house and I wasn't surprised to see it was a lot like the Meyers' except a lot smaller. Don't get me wrong it was still huge, but considerably smaller than he Meyers' which was absolutely ginormous.
We walked up to the front door hand in hand and when Isaac opened the door an older lady with black hair was there.
"Hello dear." She hugged Isaac and kissed him on the cheek. This must be his mother.
"Hi mum. I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Abby."
"Oh hello darling! You're so pretty!" I blushed as she pulled me into a hug.
