I woke up at 9 a.m. the next morning and took a quick shower before putting sweatpants and a tank top on. I let my hair hang loose again after blow drying it.

The knock on my door came at exactly 10.

"What's the password?"

"Abby it's me." I opened the door and Chris walked in.

"You're in luck."

"Why?"

"Because Alex is still alseep." I internally did a happy dance but kept calm on the outside.

"Then lucky me."

"And him because Kenny just went down there and he has a pretty good sized bruise on his face." I laughed as Chris and I walked downstairs.

"Abby!" Kenny came running up to me and gave me a tight hug. "I thought you wouldn't come down for a while."

"She's trying to show that she's the better person." Chris said matter-of-factly.

"I see. Well you definitely showed me." Kenny laughed and then winced. "Ow."

"You should put some ice on it."

"I will." The three of us walked into the kitchen and I grabbed a bowl and some cocoa puffs. While I made myself some cereal Kenny got an icepack and put it on his right cheek. As Chris talked about some weird dream he had last night I sat down at the counter opposite them.

I was halfway through my cereal when a mess of blonde hair walked through the kitchen door. I hoped it was John.

Sadly it wasn't and in walked Alex. I just continued eating my cereal as the tension in the kitchen grew.

"Abby I need to talk to you." He seemed like he hadn't slept at all.

"Goodmorning." I curtly nodded my head at him but on the inside I was freaking out.

"Abby I'm serious."

"So am I. It is a good morning, right Chris?" He smiled and I could tell he could barely keep from laughing.

"Yes it is Abby. What about you Kenny? Do you think it's a good morning?" Kenny could barely keep from laughing too.

"I do."

"Abby please."

"Please what?"

"Can we please talk?"

"I don't see what there is to talk about."

"Abby, stop playing games."

"I'm not playing games."

"You are."

"I'm not going to argue with you like a two year old."

"Then please talk to me. I want to explain myself."

"There's no need to, I understand completely."

"No, you don't."

"Well I don't feel like talking to you so I guess we'll leave it at that." I put my bowl in the sink and started walking upstairs. There was footsteps behind me and I really hoped it was Chris or Kenny because I couldn't keep my composure much longer.

I went to open my door but a hand wrapped around my bicep.

"Let me go Alex." I said through gritted teeth.

"I just want to talk to you. You don't even have to talk, I'll do it. Please."

"I don't want to talk to you, now let me go."
