aurora

/ɔːˈrɔːrə/

The dawn in the early morning.

Love,

Love: a wildly misunderstood although highly desirable malfunction of the heart which weakens the brain, causes eyes to sparkle, cheeks to glow, blood pressure to rise and the lips to pucker.

People fear it because deep down they don't believe that they are worthy of love. Or that they are fearful of giving up power to another. Ultimately, we are all afraid of being vulnerable, of being hurt. The power of love is so strong, it emotionally overwhelms many people.

Aurora was currently standing at Kings Cross station and it was full of people as always, everyone was rushing around so they wouldn't miss their train. Aurora was walking with her twin brother, Theodore to the train. Until she suddenly heard her name.

"Rory!" Pansy yelled trying to get Aurora's attention. Probably everyone on the station could hear Pansy by how hard she yelled Aurora's name. She and Daphne came running towards Aurora and they both hugged her.

Aurora, Pansy, and Daphne started walking to the train and Theodore was going to find Draco and Blaise, his best friends. While the girls were going to look for an empty compartment. Most of the compartments were already full so it was hard to find an empty one.

"Ah finally," Pansy says sitting down.

Daphne and Pansy started talking about the summer, about how happy their parents were when they saw them and how they missed them. Aurora did not want to listen to them considering her summer wasn't really pleasant. She would constantly argue with her father, Andrew Nott, over the most stupid things.

Aurora doesn't have a good relationship with her dad. This is probably due to how she was born. When her mother, Andrea Nott went into labor, something went wrong and she died while giving birth to her children.

Aurora's father blames her, even though he knows it's not her fault. She just looks so much like her mother. Andrew and Andrea had the perfect relationship, well marriage. They did everything together so it was a very hard time when he lost her.

Aurora was taken out of her thoughts when the door of the compartment opened. Theo, Blaise, and Draco walked in.

Aurora her eyes seemed to fall on a platinum blond boy. He looked different than how he looked before the summer break. Normally Aurora would see her friends a lot in the summer but she and Theo weren't allowed to go out.

Draco cleared his throat, "Do you like what you're seeing, love?" He asked playfully. Aurora scratched the back of her head, clearly embarrassed that he caught her staring. "Watch it mate," Hissed Theo.

Pansy and Daphne suggested throwing a party. They all agreed because the last party was a long time ago. "You wanna come, Rory?" Daphne says. "Sure, if there's alcohol," Aurora replied. They talked about the summer but Aurora mostly just looked out the window.

—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aurora and her friends walked into the Great hall and all the annoying first years were running around. Aurora walked behind Pansy and Daphne to the Slytherin table for dinner. They went to eat and they talked for a bit, but after half an hour they decided to go back to get ready for the party.

Pansy, Aurora, and Daphne walked laughing into the dorm that they shared. "What are you going to wear?" Aurora asked the girls.

"I'm going to wear this green dress," Pansy said while she showed her dress. "Fucking hell Pans, you are going to look amazing!" Daphne commented.

They started getting ready for the party. First, they did their make-up and hair and after they were done with that they changed into their dresses. Aurora was wearing a short black dress that hugged her figure and it only reached half of her thigh.
