having or conveying a feeling of deep seriousness and sadness.

As soon as Draco walks into his dorm, he notices Aurora sleeping on his bed. She's curled up on the duvet in a ball. He wanted to cover her with it so she wouldn't get cold. He needed to get the duvet out from under her, so he scooped her up, grabbed the duvet, and re-positioned her.

He went to grab his book and then he heard her move slightly. With his book in hand, he returns to his bed. He tries to sit on the bed as quietly as possible so he wouldn't scare her. Aurora was slowly starting to wake up, her eyelids fluttering so she could get used to the light.

Her eyes were open now but she stayed silent, waiting for Draco to speak up. Of course, she wanted to know how her brother was doing but he had hurt her. And he had promised her that he would never do that. He walked out on her so he could come by and ask her how she was right? But if he didn't care about her, then she wasn't gonna ask him how he was doing.

When Draco looked down at Aurora, she looked back at him. He saw something in her eyes. He could see how hurt she was. How much she suffered. Aurora sat up and Draco stared at her. He didn't know what to say. "Did you have fun?" Aurora says, not caring about his answer. She just wanted to hear his voice.

"Yeah kinda," Draco answers, still looking into her eyes. Looking at them felt like drowning in the sea. He sees a change in her eyes, they're now filled with tears. "Aurora," Draco says, not knowing what to do since no one ever showed him.

Aurora wanted to scream and run away. To run out of here to someplace where nobody knows her. She could start over, and find happiness but deep down she knew that everything she ever wanted was standing right in front of her. Her palms began to sweat and she felt the tears overflow her eyes, rolling down her cheeks.

They were still sitting on the bed so Draco was quickly next to her side. His arms wrapped around her, and his hand rubbed slow circles on her back to ground her. He knew she was only hanging on by a thread and he was going to do everything in his power to make her happy again. To make her feel like she was enough because that is what she was.

"You're okay, Aurora, I'm with you," Draco whispers, trying to comfort her. Aurora avoids eye contact, scared of what he would think of her now he's seeing her be so vulnerable. Draco lays his forehead against Aurora's, "You are safe, I'm with you,"

Aurora's cries slowed down and she took a deep breath. "I don't feel safe, there's this sickness in my head, it's dark. I don't know what to do, Draco," She struggles over her words.

Draco grabs her hands gently and he feels like he's about to cry. He couldn't see her in this state, he just wanted to see her laugh again. Aurora was being vulnerable with him, she was letting her guard down. All the bricks that were once a wall were now on the ground, smashed into tiny pieces.

He knew what she meant, the sickness; the voices in her head. Theodore told this to him but Aurora didn't know that. "Try to focus on me, love. We're in my dorm, it's only the two of us. Nobody can hurt you. I'll protect you," He was speaking the truth, Draco would do everything to protect her. But could he also protect her from herself?

When Aurora calmed down, Draco realized that they had classes tomorrow. "Do you want me to get you some clothes from your dorm for tomorrow?" He asked. "Don't wanna go, Dray, I'm not ready to talk to people yet. I just wanna stay here, please?" Aurora said with a pleading look in her eyes. He couldn't say no to her. "Okay, you don't have to go to class tomorrow but I am picking up some clothes from your dorm, sounds good?"

Aurora didn't want to stay here alone but she knew he was just trying to help, "Yeah, sounds good. Thank you," She smiled at him before he stood up and went to get clothes from her dorm.

When Draco walked into her dorm Pansy was standing next to the window so she could smoke. When she heard him she turned around and smiled at him. She had a suspicion about what he came for. "I need to grab some clothes for Aurora, can you pick something for her?" He asked her, having no idea what Aurora would want to wear.

"Sure, how is she?" Pansy asks, concerned about her best friend. "I don't know, Pans," Draco answers honestly as he leans against the wall and watches Pansy pack some clothes for Aurora. "She has these voices again,"

Pansy is kind of shocked at what she hears, she knew it was bad. She had just hoped it wouldn't be this bad. "oh,"

"Yeah, I don't know what to do. Aurora and Theodore aren't speaking to each other. She really needs him, Pans," Draco says. They both sigh, not knowing how to help their 2 friends. "He also needs her, I'll try to talk to him tomorrow, okay?" Pansy speaks. "I want to make it up with her but I have no idea how,"

"Maybe you should just try to speak to her?" Draco suggests. Aurora would probably forgive her right away, or she would consider forgiving her because she really loves Pansy and she hates it to argue with her.

"Okay I'll do that, can I do it right now?" Pansy also hated it to argue with Aurora. "Yeah you can," Draco replied. He knew that Aurora really needed her friends right now and the only reason why she was mad at Pansy was for something that wasn't even Pansy her idea.

"Good, now hurry up, I want to talk to her," Pansy says impatiently as they walk out of the dorm on their way to Draco's dorm.
