It's been a week since I made A Troupe and it's been amazing. I love my new team, and honestly the crazy rehearsal schedule isn't as tiring as I thought it'd be. Plus, I get to spend more time with Richelle.
I know I shouldn't like a girl with a boyfriend. And if I could move on from her, I would. But she's just amazing. When she dances, I just want to stand and watch her dance forever. Her smile makes my day ten times better. And talking to her makes it seem like time is standing still. I'm in love with her. But she doesn't know that. And it needs to stay that way. Because she and Noah are together, and while they may not be perfect, I'm not going to break them up. As far as she's concerned, I'm an idiot who pretends to like her. And while it's not ideal, I'm not the kind of guy who ends relationships.
Even if Noah seems to be. I'm not sure what he's doing but he keeps flirting with Jacquie. And I get the feeling that unlike with me and Richelle, this isn't a joke. She just brushes it off but I can tell it bothers her. The whole team can. Who would want their boyfriend openly flirting with another girl? I know Jacquie likes him, but I can tell she at least feels bad. She just ignores most of it, and pretends they're just friends. Which I suppose they are, right now. But I don't think it's long before Noah does something stupid. He's never really cared about Richelle. All that time he played with Richelle's feelings while he dated Abi. Then he flirted with Amanda but when she wasn't interested, he asked Richelle out. And Richelle liked him enough to ignore the warning signs and say yes. They've been dating 'steadily' ever since. But personally, I think a guy in a 'steady relationship' wouldn't spend so much time liking other girls' Instagram posts.
"Ok dancers, back to work" Emily says. Kingston rolls his eyes at me. We've talked a few times and he seems like a good bro but he finds the rehearsals tiring, and he does a lot of privates with West as well. At the moment, we're just learning new moves and tricks. West teaches us small parts of choreography, we spend the day cleaning it and show it Emily, then repeat it with a different routine the next day. Emily says it's to teach us to become more well rounded dancers before we start our regionals routines.
West pushes us for another hour and by the end of it I'm exhausted. Emily calls another break and I see Richelle sitting by herself so I sit down next to her. "You know, if I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put 'u' and 'i' together" I say, mock seriously. She laughs, rolling her eyes. "God Ozzy, that was so bad." "I know. I just googled cheesy pick up lines and thought that one was the worst." Richelle smirks and pushes my shoulder lightly. "You want to grab a juice after rehearsal" I joke. She rolls her eyes again. "I'm not going out with you Ozzy, I have a boyfriend." "Oh" I say, pretending to be sad. Richelle laughs. "You're so weird, Ozzy." "Yeah, people say that a lot" I grin.
I wish I could date Richelle. I wish I could ask her out. But I can't. Because she's dating Noah. And he doesn't deserve her. But no one really does.
