Chapter Sixteen: Goodbye
__

In the morning while Gianna was on her way to get breakfast "Professor Cornelius." She greeted the wise man.

He was walking in the opposite direction of Gianna while carrying multiple thick journals. "Hello, your majesty." Cornelius stopped in his tracks once they were across each other.

"Do you need help with those?" She asked while gesturing to the objects in his hands.

Cornelius looked between the books and the girl, deciding if it would be appropriate for her to help. "I don't mind, honestly." Gianna held her hands out.

"Well" He began to hand her things while speaking "I will need help to take this all the way to my study." "Exactly Cornelius."

On their way towards the room, Cornelius decided to struck up a conversation with her.

"Tell me more about your country, Porto-" when he noticed her head snap back he nervously finished "...Rain?" He apologized "I'm sorry your majesty. I forgot the name."

She shrugged "It's fine, Cornelius, I don't offended easily. And my countries name is "Puerto Rico"." He nodded his head and apologized once more before she began to tell him more about Puero Rico.

"It's a large land that, in our world, takes up halfway a continent. We grow a lot crops of different types but mainly pineapples." She clarified "Which are a type of fruit."

At that moment, Caspian stepped out of his room and saw them. When he saw Gianna, he couldn't help but feel a bit of guilt sting his heart. He knew Gianna wasn't upset anymore but they still hadn't spoken about Susan's horn and the almost kiss.

"Good morning, King Caspian." Gianna grinned widely as they passed directly across each other. "Good morning, Princess." He replied back and stared at her radiant smile.

The young man was so distracted by her that he almost tripped over a random flight of stairs. It went noticed by Gianna but she decided to not comment.

Later in the day was when everyone gathered around in the village's square to hear the kings proclamation.

But of course they had to get ready.

All the girls except Susan gathered in Gianna's room to get dressed and do their hair.

Lucy was standing at the terraces glass doors at the view of Narnia ahead. "So." She turned and saw Gianna in her new green and gold dress and putting earings in blindly. "What kind of braids are you hoping for Lucy?" She asked.

"Twin ones, please." Gianna nodded her head and went to grabbed a hairbrush. "Oye ve a cambiarte de ropa." She ordered Marina who was reading a book on Narnia's history that Cornelius gave her sister. (Translation: "Hey, go change clothes.")

"Going." Marina finished the page she was reading before going to Gianna's closet and changing.

By the time she got out, Lucy's hair was braided to perfection and they were waiting on her.

"Marina!" Lucy shouted from shock.

"What?" She asked her friend and then her sister. "You look...stunning." "¡Te ves tan bonita!" Gianna exclaimed, agreeing with Lucy. (Translation: "You look so pretty!")

Marina played with her dresses sleeves and shyly asked "Really?" Gianna walked up to her sister and in a sisterly voice "Cualquiera, incluido Justo, lo pensaría." She caressed the side of her face and then promptly pinched her cheek.
