"Why would you want to run away?" Edmund asked Marina, who stood besides him.

Everyone explained everything to each other but there was still something Gianna wasn't saying.

"I, along with my older brother realized just how wrong it was to marry someone not from love." Gianna had her eyes closed before opening them back up to look at Lucy, Susan, and Peter "I couldn't let Marina to go through the same thing."

Peter looked down at Lucy and Susan who looked at their brothers with meaningful look, understanding how protective they are with each other.

"But let me try to understand this." Gianna pointed to Peter "You are kings and queens of this land" then at Lucy "that has magic" and finally at Edmund "and although you were gone for only a year, everything has completely changed?"

All four siblings exchanged nods of agreement which answered her question.

"And you're royalty?" Susan asked once more and together, Gianna and Marina nodded. "Who ran away to not be forced and get married?" "Yes. Neither one of us deserve to be forced." She explained.

Just to bring levity, Marina snickered at her sister "Like I wouldn't put up a fight." It caused them all to at least chuckle which is what they needed.

Especially since Edmund noticed something and got on his knees.

It appeared to be a normal looking rock until further examination. "Catapults."

"What?" Peter questioned from behind.

"This didn't just happen." Edmund was referring to their once beautiful home being in ruins "Cari Paravel was attacked."

A twig in Marina's hair was slowly being pulled out by Gianna as Peter walked away towards a wall covered in vines.

With the help of Edmund, the two moved a wall that revealed a secret wooden door.

Then Peter pulled out a pocket knife and proceeded to stab the door. Peices broke off before he realized if he had just pushed, the door opened.

Continuing with the knife, he got the bottom of his white button up shirt and cut it off. Then picking up a stick from the floor, he tied it around.

"Don't suppose you have any matches, do you?" He asked Edmund who was still carrying his bag.

"No, but" He opened it up to reveal that the whole time there was a torch. (Flashlight if you're nasty.) "Would this help?"

A bit annoyed but glad they have a light source, Peter told him while smiling back a laugh "You might have mentioned that a bit sooner."

They began to walk behind Edmund who led them down stairs and Peter was in the back with Gianna.
