Ignis shouted at Elysia as he ran.
"Wait for me, I still haven't found the pincer bug."
The two of them chase each other around together with their beast pet.
"Hey, you two slow down."
Verdant sighs at the sight of the two children, they're a beam of joy as if they didn't get kidnapped at all.
"Hey, are you doing well?"
Freesia asked politely from her back accompanied by Tip and Lance.
"Oh, mistress Freesia, you don't have to waste our respect on a slave like me."
Freesia chuckled lightly at her remark, they have been briefed last night when everyone is sleeping to be nice with the slaves and treat them as equal though with the Lizard they are free to say and do whatever they want.
"You cook delicious dinner for us you know, how can I not respect a great Chef like you?"
Freesia smiled warmly at her flattering the elf that causes her to blush proudly.
"Uh, can I ask a question Mistress Freesia?"
"Just Freesia you don't have to call me mistress."
"I can't do that I'm sorry, even if we are on friendly terms I still know when do I drew the line as a slave."
Verdant explained while scratching her head.
"If the twins got kidnapped last night, why did the beast didn't hear anything or react to anything?"
"The kidnappers have skills that hide their presence so well that even high leveled people or beast cannot detect them."
The elf tried to think about the situation but things just doesn't add up.
"If that is the reason how did master know where they are if they can hide their presence well?"
Freesia was also confused because she too had the same question.
"Well in all honesty I do not know, you see our master was a boy that is full of mystery, even us his servants have little to no information about him."
Verdant was dumbfounded at the statement that she hear, she tried to understand the idea of Freesia but she just couldn't
"If you guys do not know him at all, why are you so loyal to him?"
Freesia smiled as she reminisce the past, of all the things that happened she should feel angry and vengeful however she is not, what's odder is that she feels grateful to him for some reason like if his master wants her to cut off her tongue she will do it without any hesitation.
"You see it's complicated but all I can just say is, it feels natural as if I was reborn into a new life."
Instead of being enlightened Verdant became more confused about this whole ordeal.
She did not ask questions and instead focus her attention on the twins that she needed to babysit.
Freesia smiled afar when she suddenly remembered that old memory.
"Please I really didn't know anything please."
The man cried as the maiden with a cold demeanor and deadly eyes ask him a question.
Once again there's just nothing.
The other people gathered in the corner dodging any eye contact to not suffer the same fate the man has been put through.
Angerona canceled her magic and doused the man with a healing potion.
Normally in this room, one individual cannot attack another but when they are given permission they will gain the privilege to hurt anyone inside the room.
She exited the room and meet two people waiting for him outside.
The portal dissipates into nothingness.
She bowed kneeled and was about to give her report but Jemia told her to just stand and just give the report that way.

Last night Puppy saw three different Insignia they recognize the two being the Calm seas and the Harmonious Python an organization and a guild, also the two don't even have any connection with each other even if there is one cannot point out those that tried to kidnap the twins.
However, that is not the current worry of Jemia the last Insignia is a diamond-shaped silver with a golden mark that looks like an image or a sign and on the back, there's a pentagon with the tear-shaped inside of it.
What is concerning is the insignia has mana contained in it.
They tried prying on the memories of the kidnapper on how they got these things but nothing.
It's in their things but they do not remember or know how and when did it get there.
He called everyone and gave them a task to investigate the city of Plyth where the Calm seas are located and Ferru , the home of the guild Harmonious Python.
He sent Regga to Plyth and Lance and Tip to the Ferru.
While Gideon and Freesia together with the twins are tasked to investigate the towns and villages near Ferru to see if they could find any leads here.
This of course is only to subtly give the twins ample time to relax while Jemia secretly told Gideon to train the twins.
Now, together with Verdant, Angerona, and Puppy, they will investigate a town near Plyth.
They began packing their things and agreed to meet in the town of Freix, south to the Plyth and North of the Ferru, when their task is over.
The twins cried before they could separate ways Jemia consoled the twins and jokingly told them to be powerful the next time they meet so that they will not be kidnapped again.
However, Jemia did not know that a simple sentence can affect someone's life.
"Okay, there we go, listen here okay find anything related to the kidnappers, and if you encounter anyone that annoys you investigate before torture got it?"
"YESSS!"
All of them said in unison (though the elf was just happy to be included.)
"Okay of we go, see you, everyone."
In which began the start of the "Blood Calamity".
