"You lazy alchemist, you are still alive!"
The tall elf teased Volto as she gave him a light tap on the back.
"You look like a bag of bones now? It has been only been years though"
The elf looked confused while Volto laugh as he replied jokingly.
"You can say that, I mean look at your white strands of hair last time it was only three but now..."
The elf's face twisted but Volto just teased him more.
"Hey! you started it, you witch!"
They both laughed at that moment making all everyone's attention in the guild hall focus on them.
The elf notice the gaze they are getting, she regain her composure and invited Volto and his associate inside her office in order to communicate privately.
"Anyway since It's a pleasant day today follow me, let's continue this conversation somewhere private."
Regga saw the badge in the tall elf's uniform, she must be the guild master.
This would be hard, she might've got a headstart but in the past, most of the guild masters she met had an adamant nature regarding information about their guild.
She bit her lip thinking about the strategy that she will do.
"BLAAAGGGHH"
Someone vomited in the guild causing a sudden commotion.
The adventurer collapse and the adventurers come to the rescue.
The guild master immediately felt something that caused her to scream.
"EVERYONE GET DOWN!"
Panic followed after the guild master's words.
"Vire!"
A glowing mark appeared on the back of her left hand.
Two magic circles appeared in the air where a large yellow snake with silver skin and green butterfly wings emerged along with the medium-pitch black bird with white talons and a white beak.
Nakhul: The serpent of isolation and protection.
Croven: The crown spirit of Revelation and Curses.
The guild members were in shock as the guild master rarely uses high-ranking level spirits, therefore adding more pressure on the situation.
The adventurers particularly the veterans began bracing themselves while telling the other shaken members to do the same.
They knew that something big is about to happen.
The spirits jumped to the adventurer's body and surrounded it with thick spiritual mana.
The snake encircles the adventurer casting a small white and yellow barrier around the body.
The adventurer's body began to tremble, and the poor adventurer's body swell.
Veins pop out and a sharply pointed spine appeared all over his body.
the adventurer became an abomination.
Regga felt a sudden abnormality of different mana all over the place.
"What the hell."
Even the Guild Master looks so concerned but she is too focused on what is in front of her.
The dark bird began letting out a piercing shriek, and a large number of twitching eyeballs with black wings appeared then began attaching themselves to the barrier.
"Everyone! cast your shield on the creature and cast sleep or paralyze those who can lower its resistance cast your skills too now!"
The guild master gave the command, and everybody in the guild hall began casting their skill.
The pupils of the attached eyes began dilating with varying colors.
"Call the magistrate and told them that we need assistance"
"I'll leave this boy here then."
Mr. Volto disappeared leaving a concentrated mana behind.
The boy was confused and scared Regga tucked him behind her as she unleashed a skill.
"Dark Star"
A dark sphere appeared in Regga's palm that she threw into the creature.
The Guildmaster saw and she gave Regga the side eye.
"Why are you holding back?"
Regga's eyes widened in shock.
Does she know?
"You're sketchy but you are not showing hostility well sort things out after, right now unleashed everything that you got."
The Guildmaster began pouring more mana as the creature struggled inside the barrier.
Regga isn't sure if the Guildmaster found her out or not.
Let's try upping the power a bit so that it can be believable.
"Dark Star."
Four medium size spheres appeared that fired a black laser at the creature.
The creature's body began having pulsating black vein-like marks that appeared all over its body.
After this, the creature succumb to the skills and suddenly fell on the floor harshly.
"Don't drop the shield!
The Guildmaster examined the body but before she can even approach the body disintegrated leaving nothing but ashen remains and leftover items of the adventurer.
The guild master's fury began to germinate.
The guild hall fell silent but not for long when guards appeared at the door shouting for help regarding what is happening outside the city.
Everyone in the guild hall looked at the nearest window while the others looked at the door.
The monster that was once in the guild hall is currently outside the city wreaking havoc.
Fear? Worry? Confusion?
Different emotions started to flood through the adventurer inside the hall.
For those that have families and those that don't, it doesn't matter everyone has the same thought.
