Saving The Miracle (part 2)

"Why would hugging Isabella do anything? She hates me. And I don't know if you heard but I ruined her proposal."

"Mirabel," Sophia and Bruno whispered  but she kept rambling. Soon both Sophia and Bruno yelled, "Mirabel!"

She snapped out of it and looked at them, "lo siento. But you're missing the point. This isn't about her it's about you. You're exactly what this family needs. You can do it."

Mirabel smiled, "by yourself I've got to go." He took the plant and began to sneak back to the painting. "You're not coming?"

Bruno put on a voice waving his hand, "it was your vision Mirabel not mine." "You're afraid Abuela will see you." "Yep, I mean yes that too."

He stood up and Sophia hugged him tightly. "Hey after you save the miracle come visit." "After I save the miracle we're bringing you home."

Bruno smiled and kissed Sophia's head. "Knock knock knock knock knock on wood." He took a deep breath falling through the painting with his fingers crossed. "See you soon papa."

Sophia and Mirabel headed to Isabella's room. "Just got to save a miracle, with a hug." Mirabel groaned, "Isa? Hey! I know we've had our issues. But you know maybe we should just hug? Let's hug it out!"

"Hug it out?" Isabella came down mumbling to herself before yelling, "have you lost your mind!"

She then noticed Sophia, "and what our you doing here! I banned you from my room. Out!" She summoned a vine that threw Sophia out of the room.

"Ow ok that hurt." Abuela saw what happened and pulled Sophia away scolding her for being in Isabella's room. Now she was roped into helping Abuela reconcile with the Guzmans.

Mirabel looked back at Isabella, "Ok I can tell that you're upset. And you know what cures being upset! A warm embrace."

Isabella created an X of vines, "get out." "Everything was perfect. Abuela was happy, the family was happy. You want to be a better sister, apologize for ruining my life!"

She paused, "go on apologize." Mirabel sighed, "I am sorry." Isabella smirked in triumph which tipped Mirabel over the edge. "That you life is so great!" "Out."

The vines started to drag Mirabel out but she resisted. "Fine I apologize! I wasn't trying to ruin your life! Some of us have bigger problems, you selfish, entitled princess!"

"Selfish!? I have been stuck being perfect my whole entire life. And the only thing you have ever done is mess it up!"

"Nothing is messed up, you can still marry that big dumb hunk." "I never wanted to marry him. I was doing it for the family!"

Mirabel was stunned hearing this as a cactus sprouted between them.

Alma rushed back to Casita with Sophia in tow. Sophia prayed that everything would be alright.
