Remember Me...

10 years later

(Sophia is now 12 years old, she has a dark green dress with a white band around the middle.)

For 10 years Sophia had to pretend her papa essentially didn't exist. Only one other person knew about Bruno and that was Dolores.

She promised to keep quiet about it and they bonded. Dolores was definitely Sophia's favorite cousin.

Mirabel forgot a lot of things. She didn't remember Bruno at all. And sometimes she would even forget that Sophia is his daughter.

Since she wasn't at Sophia's ceremony Antonio's feels like the first ceremony since hers.

A lot of people have avoided Sophia. She's so similar to Bruno it scares them. Sophia slept in her room peacefully in her own little world. Not knowing someone would forcibly wake her up in 30 minutes.

Mirabel got up early to set up the dishes for breakfast. 3 kids began to ask her questions. She broke into song explaining everything.

(If you want play Welcome to the family Madrigal. I didn't add anything to it. Just that in the part where it says "we don't talk about Bruno." They also say we don't talk about Sophia.)

At the end Mirabel began to help out after getting a delivery. Sophia rolled her eyes when the man said it was the first gift ceremony since Mirabel's.

She mumbled under her breath, "I exist you know." Dolores went up to her cousin. "Hey are you ok?" Sophia sighed, "yeah yeah I'll be ok it's just hard. You know."

Dolores nodded and looked around. She whispered under her breath. "I don't think they would notice if you left for a while."

Sophia chuckled, "I didn't need you to tell me that." She relized how spiteful she sounded and immediately apologized to Dolores.

"Hey it's ok, you're on edge I understand." She hugged her cousin, "go, I know where you really want to be."

Sophia nodded and hugged Dolores, "thank you." Sophia snuck away and discretely went into the painting.

She walked around and found her papa acting out a little story with his rats.

Maria: Why can't I be with you Jose? I love you! (She said with tears in her eyes)

Jose: We can't be together, I've told you a million times your my Tia. But you keep forgetting.

Sophia gasped, "she's his tia!?" Bruno looked up at his daughter and smiled. "Mija, what are you doing here?"

Sophia shook her head, "no no no don't you dare change the subject. How the heck is she his tia!?"

Bruno chuckled knowing his daughter needed an explanation. "It's a telenovela amor. It's supposed to not make sense and be filled with drama. That's what makes it entertaining."

She went over to the rats and touched them. Hoping it would tell her what was going on in the telenovela. "Uhg nothing."

Bruno laughed and opened his arms, "I told you mi vida it's not going to make sense." She sighed and went into her father's embrace. "You don't make any sense but I still love you."

He held her close, "now. Why are you here mija? Not that I mind of course but isn't it Antonio's gift ceremony today?"

Sophia sighed again, "yeah it's his gift ceremony. The first ceremony since Mirabel's." Bruno's eyes widened, "I'm I'm so sorry this is my fault. They're."

She cut him off, "no it isn't your fault papi. I don't blame you." Bruno sighed holding Sophia close. She's so much like her mother. Even though she looks exactly like him her actions are just like his amor.

"How long are you going to hide out in here?" Sophia spoke the truth, she always tells him the truth. "Forever," Bruno gave her a sad smile, "Forever can get lonely."

She shook her head, "not if your with someone." He sighed, "Sophia..."

They were interrupted by a loud commotion going on outside. Apparently Pepa was panicking and large gusts of wind were ruining the flowers.

Sophia saw that as a sign to leave. "Ok I should help out." She gave her papa one last hug. "I love you papi."

She left the walls only to see the situation being remedied by Isabella. She always had mixed feelings about her.

Isabella always acts like an entitled princess. Key word, acts, Sophia knows the truth but never told Isabella that she knew.

"Look who finally showed up. Well aren't you going to help?" Isabella asked Sophia. Sophia rolled her eyes and nodded. She put on her gloves and got to work. She needs the gloves to stop her gift from activating.

Everything was going smoothly for the most part. Now we just need to see what the night will bring.
