Alma burst through completely aghast at what she saw. "What is going on here!?" Isabella's flowers began to wilt as Mirabel tried to explain.

Alma wouldn't hear any of it, "you have to stop Mirabel! The cracks started with you! Bruno left, because of you! Luisa is losing her powers, Isabella is out of control, because of you! I don't know why you weren't given a gift. But that is not an excuse for you to hurt this family!"

Cracks started to form behind Alma as Sophia backed away. "I will never be enough for you. No matter how hard I try." She looked over at her sisters and cousin. "No matter how hard any of us tries. Luisa will never be strong enough, Isabella won't be perfect enough, Sophia will never know enough. Bruno left our family because you only saw the worst in him!"

"Bruno didn't even care about this family!" Sophia glared at her Abuela, "he loves this family! I love this family! We all love this family! You're the one breaking our home!"

"Don't you dare-" "the miracle is dying because of you!" Both of their eyes widened and the house began to brake and the candle fell over.

Mirabel, Isabella, Sophia and Camilo ran towards the candle. Isabella's vines went away and Camilo fell after reverting to his original self.

Mirabel called to Casita to lift her up but she slipped on the ladder. Sophia caught her and lifted her up to get the candle. She held the candle in triumph but the house shook and they both fell to the ground.

Sophia hit the back of her head and was knocked out, a pool of blood forming underneath her. Mirabel was on the ground beside her stunned. The house came crumbling down ontop of them.

Luckily Casita protected them one last time. The family came running towards the 2 girls. "Mirabel are you ok?"

Mirabel stayed quiet, this is all my fault. Her mother left and she ran with tears streaming down her face.

"Where's Mirabel?" Julietta noticed Sophia's still body. "Oh Dios Mio! Sophia!" The rest of the family came over to her.

"Is she ok?!" Then someone they hadn't seen in a long time ran up to them.

(While the house was breaking)

Bruno grabbed his rats and put on his bucket to act as a helmet. He ran through the wall breaking through. He looked up and saw Mirabel and Sophia grabbing the candle.

Then he saw the whole thing come crashing down on them. Terrified he ran inside to see if his daughter was ok.

(Present)

Bruno knelt down and lifted up his daughter gently. "Oh Dios mio," he noticed the blood and held her close. "I'm so sorry mija."

He looked up at Julietta who was shocked to see her brother after so many years. "I I know this is sudden but please. Will she be ok?"

Julietta knelt down also checking Sophia's wound. "I think so, hold her head up for me."

Bruno nodded and did so carefully. Julietta took out bandages and herbs from her apron and began to diligently make a paste to put on the wound and wrap up the back of Sophia's head.

"There she should be alright." Bruno sighed in relief. "Gracias Julietta." The family was stunned to see Bruno but said nothing. They all left to search for Mirabel.

30 minutes after the family left Sophia stirred awake. "Mija hey." Sophia looked up confused. "Papa?" She tried to sit up but groaned and fell back.

"Easy amor," he held her head up. "How are you feeling?" She sighed leaning into her father's chest. "My head hurts, what happened? Last thing I remember was helping Mirabel grab the candle. Than I fell."

She touched the back of her head and winced. She looked around, "where is everyone?"

Bruno squeezed his daughters hand, "they are looking for Mirabel." "Ok," Sophia said quietly going back to sleep.

Bruno kissed her forehead, "just rest pequeña."
