Both of them were startled as Mirabel burst through the door. "You said you wish you could've seen more so see more! Have another vision!"
Bruno began to move away and protest. "Oh no I don't really do visions anymore so." "But you could." "But I won't." She kept nagging him till Sophia spoke up.
"Look even if my papa wanted to have a vision. Which he's clearly stated that he doesn't. We basically destroyed his vision cave. And he needs lots of sand and a big open space."
"We can easily find sand and find a space." "Where!?" Bruno and Sophia said in unison.
"Use my room." They all looked over at Antonio shocked. "The rats told me everything, don't eat those." He told his jaguar that was about to eat a few of Bruno's rats.
"Tio Bruno please, I need to know. And you need to get out of here." Bruno looked over at his rats that were bathing with his toothbrush. Bruno shrugged, "meh."
They left the painting together going to Antonio's room. "I'll go get the sand papa." Sophia took Bruno's bucket and quickly got the sand.
Bruno began to set up his ritual and Mirabel pressed him after feeling the room shake. "You might want to hurry it up." Bruno chuckled, "you can't hurry the future."
He sat down and began to doubt himself. "What if I show you something you don't like? Than you're going to say Bruno makes bad things happen. Oh he's weird and his vision killed my gold fish."
"I don't think you make bad things happen. Sometimes family weirdos just get a bad rap." Sophia hugged her papa reassuringly. "You can do it papi."
Antonio also gave Bruno the stuffed jaguar Mirabel made him. "For the nerves."
Bruno smiled, "Ok I can do this I can do this." He took in a deep breath in a swift motion he threw some salt over his shoulder and lit a match.
Mirabel and Sophia watched in fascination. This was the first time either of them were seeing his gift.
He finished and his eyes began to glow green. "You both should hang on." He held out his hands and both of them grabbed on as the sand swirled around them.
Images began to play out of the magic in danger and the house breaking. "It's just the same thing! I've got to stop." Bruno tried to stop and Sophia could see it was physically painful for him.
"No I've got to see which way it goes! There has to be something, something we just aren't seeing."
"You're looking at the same thing I saw, if there was more-" Sophia cut him off, "over there!"
They saw a golden butterfly, "butterfly! Follow the Butterfly!" The girls picked Bruno up as they followed the golden butterfly. "Where is that?" Mirabel asked confused.
"It's all out of order, the candle! It's burning brighter! I think you're going to help the candle!"
Bruno was getting more confident and excited about the vision which made Sophia very happy. "How?!" Mirabel was still not understanding.
"Umm there's another person and you, you fight her!" "What!?" Mirabel and Sophia yelled. "No no wait is that a hug?" "Am I fighting or hugging!" Mirabel was starting to get annoyed.
"An embrace! An embrace! In order to make the candle burn brighter you have to embrace her!" "Embrace who?"
"Wait almost there, almost there." The image shifted into Isabella flipping her hair like she does.
"Isabella!" Sophia rolled her eyes, of course it had to be Isabella. The vision ended and Bruno held the green slab showing Mirabel hugging Isabella.
He had a bright smile on his face, "oh your sister that's great!" Mirabel was not happy and the smile immediately left his face as he sighed.
"Every time." He threw the vision to the side as it shattered. The 3 of them left the room hiding behind some plants.
