Phil pulled Tommy and Wilbur's bags out of the car and carried them inside. He put them down by the door and greeted his ex wife, while the two boys walked upstairs to their rooms. It was late, and they were tired. "Hey Kristen, they'll probably be asleep when you go check on them. We went fishing today and they spent their time wrestling."

Kristin laughed and moved the bags away from the door. "That's good..." She decided to address the obvious problem. "Where's Techno?"

"He said he'd get his own bag." Phil looked out the door, seeing that Techno wasn't even out of the car yet. "I'll go get him."

Phil walked outside, Kristin watched from the open door. Phil opened the car door and leaned on it. "Did you fall asleep? Come on, mom's waiting."

Techno reluctantly got out of the car and kept his head down as Phil got his bag out of the trunk.

Phil brought the bag in and Techno trailed behind like a snail. "I think he's tired too...it's been a long weekend."

Techno stood beside Phil once he got inside.

"Hey Techie." Kristin smiled and took his bag from Phil. "Did you guys have fun with dad?"

"Yup." Techno decided to yawn to convince them he was just tired.

"That's good, you can go to bed now if you're tired." Kristin set his bag down beside all the others.

Technoblade was hesitant to go to bed before Phil left. He looked up at his dad but didn't have anything to say.

Phil ruffled his hair gently, so he didn't knock out any of the expensive clips Techno had in his hair. "I'll call you tomorrow, see you next weekend."

"Okay, bye." Techno started making his slow climb up the steps.

"Is he okay?" Kristin asked once Techno was in his room.

"He was fine the whole weekend." Phil shrugged.

"Well yeah, because he was with you. He's bonded with you, not me." Kristin pointed out. She could tell her son was not doing well with the recent divirce.

"He loves you too, don't be ridiculous." Phil laughed awkwardly.

"I know he loves me Phil. You're his whole world though. You're the one that rescued him and raised him to be the fella he is today. He's always just been naturally attached to you." Kristin explained, hoping Phil agreed with her.

"You're right..." Phil agreed. "I'm sure he's going to be fine though. I'd much rather if the boys all stay in their home together with you. It's only been a month, he'll adapt."

"I hope you're right..." Kristin motioned to the door. "I'll see you next weekend."

Phil took the hint and stepped outside. "See you next weekend, bye." He walked back to his car and watched Kristin shut the door.
