Chapter 32

CASSANDRA

"Everyone mr. and mrs. Monteverde" The emcee anounced and the spotlight went to us, to Lucas and me.

Umupo na kami sa upuan sa parang stage na ginawa nila para sa gender reveal. Resha and Rhiane,my sisters-in-law arranged this so as Travis my brother-in-law.

"Okay so this night is really memorable to our soon to be parents, so before we starts our program let us pray. So our prayer will be lead by ma'am Alyana Monteverde." The emcee said, and mama Alyana step up in the stage and the we strated to pray, after the prayer the program finally started.

"Okay, will it be a girl or a boy?" The emcee ask the crowd. Some says boy and also other says girl. Nagtalo ang boy at girl na sigawan ng mga bisita namin sa aming gender reveal.

"Okay, let us see." The emcee said again at tumingala ito sa langit. Maya maya pa ay lumabas ang chopper. At ilang minuto ang nakalipas ay may malaking papel ang inilaglag ng chopper upang ilatag sa ere, at kasabay nito nalaglag ang mga confetti at parang powder na kulay rosas, at nakalagay rin sa papel na 'IT'S A GIRL' Nag si hiyawan ang mga sumigaw kanina ng girl.

Niyakap naman ako ni Lucas at lumuhod pa ito upang halikan ang aking babybump, at saka hinalikan niya rin ako.

"We are having a princess" His tears at starting to stream down in her face at niyakap ko siya, kase kahit ako naiiyak rin dahil kahit ako ay gusto ko ng babae pero ang akala ko talaga lalake ganun rin si Lucas he really wants a baby girl, and thank god he give us a baby girl.

Lumapit sa stage namin ang mga inlaws ko at sina mom,dad,Ella, at kuya Titus. "Congrats anak" Mom said and then I hug them as my tears stream down my face. At parang naiiyak na rin si mom. "Wag kang umiyak anak,nahahawa ako" She said and she wipe off my tears.

"Masaya lang po talaga ako kase, babae ang magiging panganay namin ni Lucas mom, Babae ang una niyong apo" I said and I wipe my tears using a tissue.

"Congrats anak, noon pa talaga, noong inililihim mo pa kay Lucas ang pagbubuntis mo ay malakas talaga ang hinala ko na babae." Dagdag ni mama Alyana at tumawa naman doom si mom. Napag-alaman namin na mag bestfriend din pala dati ang mga magulang namin kaya goods na lahat.

"Bakit kumare?" Tanong ni mom.

"Ang ganda kase niyang buntis day" Sagot ni mama Alyana at ngumisi naman si mommy kay mama Alyana.

"Maganda talaga ang anak namin Yana wag ka nang magtaka kung magandang buntis ang anak ko kase maganda ang lahi pinanggalingan niya. At saka wag ka na ring magtaka kung magiging sobrang ganda ng apo natin, maganda kase ang ina." Mom boastfuly said at mama Alyana at tumawa naman si mama Alyana doon.

"Hindi sobrang ganda Marj. Kasing ganda ng dyosa dapat aba't maganda rin ang lahi ng mga Monteverde at malalakas rin ang dugo namin kaya alam kong maraming lalake ang paiiyakin ng apo natin kapag magiging dalaga na ito." Dagdag pa ulit ni mama Alyana at bumulong naman sa akin si Lucas.

"Ang hangin ng mga magulang natin" He wispered at tumawa naman ako roon at saka umupo na dahil naninigas na ang tiyan kakatayo at may pagkain na rin na nilagay ang caterer sa aming mesa.

We eat and after we eat we are all gathered and we go to the big yacht, it has actually seven to accomodate everyone I don't even knew who will pay to the rent of this seven yacht. The emcee brief to ys that we will go the other island for the baby shower.

In our yacht, kasama namin ang in laws ko at ang pamilya ko and then the yacht started to move and we headed to the island, and after an hour we finally arrived at the island. The island is also nice, like in the place where Lucas and I got married.

The island has a fine sands and the reception for the baby shower I guess is visible here in the shore.

"We are here" Resha and Rhiane announced and then we came to the venue of the baby shower.

The reception was in white and pink motif the table skirting is also in combination of pink and white and all designs are composed of white and pink even the roses and others.

"So our soon to be parents are having a baby girl we will be having a party but we will having an special request to the close friends ng mom to be natin if they could sing a song to our soon to be parents" The emcee said and then he mentioned my close friends. Jelai,Anika and Ivy.

"Anong kakantahin namin?" Tanong ni Ivy sa emcee.

"Anything you want to sing to your soon to be mom na friend ma'am" Tugon ng emcee.

"Cocomelon pwede, alangan naman kakanta kami ng Rewrite the stars, Akin ka nalang, o Heartbreak Anniversarry, Eh gender reveal naman to" Dagdag ni Jelai.

"Okay..." Si Anika.

"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round-" Hindi na natuloy ang pagkanta ni Ivy ng sumabat si Jelai.

"Mukha kang tanga Ivs. Dapat if your happy and you know dapat yun para mas masaya." Sabat ni Jelai. Napa face palm naman ako alam kong ano ang kakantahin nila. Hayy Jelai parang di ka heart broken.

"B*tch na peke, ang dami mong dada"Jelai.

"Isampal ko kaya ang suso ko sayong mukha, bhiee"Anika.

"Ako ang nag buhat sa toneladang mong yan"Ivy.

Senenyasan ko ang emcee na bigyan ako ng mic, at binigyan niya rin ako.

"Tama na yan. Magaling na kayong kumanta" I rolled my eyes when I said the last words but they all laugh at me.

And then the program of the baby shower started and then we started gathering the gifts for our baby girl.

"Next we have miss Anika to give the gift." The emcee announced, at lumapit naman si Anika sa amin and then the emcee give her the mic.

"Congrats Cass. This is my gift para sa inaanak ko, and then I have something to give to you. Not to you lang ha? Sa inyong tatlo pala." Anika said and she mentioned Jelai and Ivy to come infront. Inilagay niya muna ang gift niya para sa baby namin at binigyan niya kami ng tig iisang box.

"Sorry sa pakikisingit, pero ngayon lang tayo ulit nagkita na kumpleto tayong apat, kaya I think it is the best time tell you about it." She added at sabay naming tatlo binuksan ang box at tumambad ang picture at pregnancy test.

Our eyes widen when we realized what is she trying to tell us, I got excited so I hug her and then I look at her not so big stomach.

"May kalaro na ang baby girl namin" I said and also the two was also for Anika because she is having her angel.

"Since miss Jelai and miss Ivy is in front sila na ang next na magbibigay ng gift." Emcee said.

"Okay congrats sis, safe labor lang sa baby girl natin" The two said in chouros.

After that we proceed to the name suggestion game where everyone could have a chance to give a nice name to name our baby girl.

"Cassia" mama Alyana suggest.

"Caliera (kaleyra) Louise" mom suggested.

"Chantal Faith" One of mama Alyana's friends suggested.

"Akirra Chaira (shayra) Leighn" Travis suggested.

"Azea Katrina" Kuya Titus suggested.

"Astrid Lira" Jelai suggested.

"Athenna Leigh" Ivy suggested

"Leighn" Anika suggested.

Everyone got a chance to suggest a name for our baby girl and after that the party was okay and smooth and it is nearly nightime when the party is over.

We stayed in the Beach house in this island because it is so tiring to go home, kasama lang namin dito ang mga in laws ko mom,dad,kuya, and Ella went home but we stay here. Dahil bukas nalang kami uuwi.

"Sleep now baby mommy, our baby girl needs to rest." Paalala ni Lucas and I smiled. "I love you and thankyou for bringing this new bunddle of joy" I sincerly said.

"I love you too, And your welcome and also thankyou for bringing an unconditional joy for me."
