Chapter 31

LUCAS

I am in front of the house the caller told me to go... I am bieng careless, di na ako nag isip pano kung patibong ito, I am nearing to be insane without my wife, I heard her voice everywhere, and her scent sometimes invading in my nostrils even she is not even here.

I am being desperate. I don't want to be insane,magkaka anak pa kami,we have plans to grow old together, kaya nga niya ako pinakasalan diba?

"Ikaw ba si Lucas Monteverde?" One of the two mens in high caliber guns asks, I crossed my arms on my chest and then I nods. Nagkatinginan silang dalawa at sinenyasan nila ako na sumunod sa kanila.

We enter the not-so-big-house and then as we enter the house, it has also a second floor with rooms I guess and then an woman in early fourtees came in front of me

"So you are my Lucas Monteverde?, My daughter's husband?" She asks.

"Yes ma'am" I simply reply, I need to be polite in my wife's parents even though I want to strangle their neck to death for taking away my wife from me.

"Follow me, her dad wants to see you" She said and then I followed her and we headed to the library, she opened the door, and then a I saw a man in like middle fourtees who is in reading glasses and reading a book.

"Hon, he is here" The woman said, ibinababa nito ang libro na binabasa nito at humarap sa akin. He look at me with his cold glare.

"Mukha palang di na maasahan." The man mumbled as he look at me troughly.

"Of course I am trusted sir" Pangatwiran ko, pero dinuro ako nito.

"I was like you before. A cassanova" He pointed me up at natutop naman mga labi ko sa sinabi ng ama ng asawa ko.

" I don't even know why my daughter marry you" He said with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes.

"He marry me because I'm handsome" I answered cooly, and my wife's mother giggled.

"Wag kang magalit hon, kaugali mo ang asawa ng anak mo" Saad ng ina ni Leigh habang pinipigilan ang sarili na hindi matawa.

At sinamaan naman ako niya ako ng tingin and he smile sweetly at his wife.

"Can we talk privately hon?, Or can you prepare us snack instead?" He asks his wife and then she smiled as she left the library.

And the atmosphere became serious again and then he look at me.

"F*ckyou for impregating my daugter" He said as he raised his middle finger at me, pigil na pigil ako na wag rin siya pakyuhan.

"Pero pinagutan ko rin siya sir, and I love her. That's why I impregate her, so there is no way she can escape from me" I proudly said, then he raised his middle finger again at me.

"I don't like you as my son-in-law" He simply said as he lean on the recliner.

"What do you want me to do, to like me sir?" I asks worriedly. Dammit my wife's father don't like me and I just can't calm down! May chance na ilayo nila sa akin ang magiging mag ina ko! And I can't just let it happen.

"Nothing, you are not the ideal man for my daughter, I don't like you." He replied.

"But we are married!" I insisted but a dangerous smirk formed in his lips.

"I can annul it" My eyes widen in shock and i'll eat my pride this time. I kneel infront of my wife's dad.

"Please don't sir... I'm begging you. I can't live without my wife I'll be insane!" I explained but he remain his cold glare at me as he still leaning in his recliner.
