Denni sat on the picnic table in awe of what she'd missed out on. She missed the birth of her niece and had no idea that Opie and Donna were going to have another baby. She sat with Ellie on her lap as she caught up with her old friend. "I can't believe I missed this."

Donna gave her a smile as she reached over the table and squeezed her arm. "You can make it up to me and babysit." She laughed.

Denni let out a snort and agreed. "Can't say no to that sweet face!" She gushed, lifting Ellie up in the air.

Donna got serious as she looked at Denni across the table. "Do you regret leaving?" She asked.

Denni smiled warmly and shook her head. "Getting out of Charming was one of the best things I've done. I needed to know who I was away from all of this." She admitted. "But, like Jax and Ope, no matter the distance or change in scenery the life called me."

Sighing heavily Donna looked over the lot. "That's what I'm afraid of."

Denni looked at Donna with a curious look on her face. "What's going on?"

----

Jax and Opie’s eyes were glued on Clay. Something seemed off with the man. If Jax didn't know better, he'd have sworn that he saw fear in his eyes. He looked around the table and noticed what could have spooked him.

Happy sat with a murderous glare. They'd gone over what they thought they knew and the more Happy pieced together everything the more he clenched his jaw. As Clay spoke about the next run, Happy's fists clenched. He was talking about being short again. "How are we going to make the cash?"

Clay shrugged as he puffed on his cigar. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about after church." He started. "I know you and Denni have been getting close, maybe you can talk her into helping us."

Happy's blood started to boil. "What happened to the thirty grand she gave you last month?" He asked. He wasn't out of place asking. He was a member and club financials were club business.

Before Clay could answer, the prospect peeked in to tell Clay the Irish were waiting. Opie scoffed to himself and looked across the table at Jax. They both wanted to hear the excuse Clay was about to spew.

Clay banged the gavel dismissing everyone. He left with Tig, Chibs and Bobby on his heels. The others were left still around the table. Jax looked at Happy who was about to explode and slid a joint towards him. "This shit is going to be hard to prove." He huffed.

Piney squeezed Opie’s shoulder. "You want to know the truth, you talk to Gemma."

Lenny walked out of the diner with coffee and was surprised to see the princess walking down the street with another woman and a small child. "Well this just got easy." He said to himself.

He ran across the street to the old hotel and barged into the room he was sharing with Sully. "The girl is at the diner." He said breathlessly. His lungs weren't like they used to be after 30 years of smoking and a diet of mostly take out.

Sully looked at his partner with a curious look as he took his coffee. "You sure it's her?" He asked. "I don't see them letting her out of their sight."

"It was her. She was with some other broad and a kid." He explained. Didn’t look like any of the douche bags on bikes were with her either.

Sully’s brow creased at that. He would have thought that they would have at least one of them following her around. He put on his shoes and headed for the door with Lenny on his heels. As they stood outside of the hotel smoking they had a clear view of the girl they were following. Sure enough, she sat with some other woman. Looked like they were laughing and catching up. “You know who that is?” he asked.

Lenny shook his head. “Nah, I just saw them walking down the street. Looks like they know each other pretty well though.”

As the men outside watched, Denni was fighting the cold chill she had gotten when she saw one of the guys that would come into the bar all the time. She’s pretty sure that one of the guys Happy dealt with at the bar was one of their kids. She faked the smile and laughter with Donna, she didn't want to scare her. Especially after the conversation they had at the clubhouse. She could see Kozik sitting just a couple of booths down from them. He’d done a good job at blending in. No cut, no bike.

Denni excused herself and headed for the bathroom, dropping her phone as she passed Kozik. She sat in the bathroom for just a few seconds before she could hear someone  walking towards the restroom. A knot formed in her stomach as she opened the door and sighed in relief. “They figured out where I am.” she blurted out. “He’s out there. I can feel it.”

Kozik looked at her with a creased brow and handed her the phone. “Call Happy, they should be done with church. Tell him where you are. “I’ll be outside in the beat up Impala.”

She gave him a nod and watched him walk away. She waited a few more seconds before slapping a smile back onto her face and headed back to where she’d left Donna. Before she could get to her seat, she heard a very familiar voice say her name. “Wayne?” she asked as she turned around with a real smile and a sparkle in her eye. “You really do know when to show up.”

He let out a laugh as he looked her over. “You’re all grown up, kid.” he said, lost in the past. “When’d you get back?”

She nodded towards her table. “Come have a cup of coffee with us.” she suggested. SHe knew he wouldn’t turn down a free cup of coffee.

When he agreed, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. “Gemma didn’t mention you coming for a visit.”

She snorted at that. “Doesn’t surprise me one bit.” she admitted. “She’s hated me ever since Jax, Opie and me got busted for letting off cherry bombs behind the mill.”

Donna couldn’t stifle the laughter that escaped. “I remember Opie telling me about that. He said you were all banned from the lot and each other for the rest of the summer.”

Denni nodded. “She also blamed me for it all.” she sighed. “Little did she know, I took the heat so Jax and Opie wouldn’t get in shit again. It would've been strike three.”

“Maybe I should give her a little history lesson.” Unser suggested with a kind smile.

Happy walked out of the chapel and grabbed his phone out of the cigar box. He noticed two missed calls. One from Denni and the other from Kozik. He looked around and didn’t see Denni. “You see where Denni went?” he asked the prospect.

“She left with Opie's old lady and Kozik followed.” he explained as he finished cleaning the glass in his hand.

Rolling his eyes at the prospect's answer, he took out his phone. “Not even here for a day and she’s already disappearing.” he huffed.

Kozik answered in the first ring. "We have a problem. She spotted one of the guys walking down the street."

"Where are you? He growled.

"The diner."

He hung up and looked around. "Ope, grab Jax. We're going to get lunch."

Uh oh! Looks like the boys are off to save the day. What do you think Lenny and Sully are going  to do?
