Denni walked into the clubhouse the next day looking for her two intruding best friends. They had made plans to meet up before they all headed back to Charming. Denni noticed Jax and a mischievous glint in his eyes and shook her head. “What are you up to blondie?” she asked, eyeing him up and down.
Jax smirked and shook his head. “Nothing.” he sang, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. “Just happy to see my friend.”
She snorted and shook her head. “I’ve known you since we could crawl… SPILL.”
“Look, me and Ope feel bad for interrupting last night.” he started. “But we wanna know what the deal is between you and the killer.”
Denni scoffed and looked at her best friend and rolled her eyes. "Whatever happened between me and Happy, is none of your business, Jax."
Jax's eyebrows raised as he took in Denni's words. "It's like that now?" He asked feigning offense.
She snorted and pushed him playfully. "Shut up! If there is anything between Happy and me, then that's our business. Can't lie to ya though, I feel something."
Jax nodded as he listened. "Just be careful."
She rolled her eyes again, but agreed to satisfy him. "I will. Now, what's the deal with you and Tara?"

Happy walked out of the clubhouse with the night before playing on his mind. He hadn't been able to get to sleep after he got back. The thought of grabbing a sweetbutt to take his mind off of the woman he had left came to him, but he quickly thought better of it. He was trying to prove her wrong and he was determined to do just that.
Just as he lit a smoke he heard the airy sound of her laugh and turned his head towards the sound.
There she was thrown over Tig's shoulder laughing. A pang of jealousy wormed up but he quickly squashed it knowing that the men from SAMCRO were her family.
Kozik noticed the killer and what he was staring at and smiled wide. He knew the night before that they had hit it off. He worked his way through the crowd of people saying their goodbyes to the mother charter and parked his ass beside his friend. "What's up with you?" He asked, pointing  out the small smile Happy was sporting.
Happy's expression quickly changed to his usual stoic facade and turned to Kozik. "Nothin."
Kozik snorted as he clapped him on the back. "Well I think I may take a chance with 'Nothin' if it's got you smiling."
Happy reared back his fist and landed a solid shot to Kozik's shoulder, making him curse. Happy smirked and shook his head. "I'll kill you."
Kozik's hands flew up in defense. "Alright, shit man." He chuckled. "You better lock that shit down before any of the others get the same idea."
Happy turned to see the smile on Denni's face as she said goodbye to her family. He never thought he'd want to lock any woman down, let alone a legacy of the club. Getting up, he threw his smoke and walked over to the garage. He needed something to take his mind off the woman who'd been playing on his mind for the last three weeks.

"Denni!" Bobby hollered from the row of bikes they were all packing up.
Her head moved to search out her father and she quickly left her two best friends. "Guess this is bye, huh?" She asked as she rocked on her feet.
Bobby sighed and nodded. "Least till you need another drop. Try not to make it too soon." Be said with a knowing smirk.
She rolled her eyes and shrugged. "Can't help it. I'm good at what I do." She winked. "But I get it."
"You get too greedy, the great will come quick. Slow it down for a while. You're more than comfortable."
She gave him a nod and felt an arm slip over her shoulders. She looked to who the arm belonged to and smiled. "Hey Chibby."
Chibs gave her a quick squeeze and dropped a kiss to the top of her head. "Stay safe, and keep Happy close." He said with a wink.
Denni gave him a swatt and laughed. "You guys are the worst!"
Bobby's ears perked up at the information that was just dropped. "What's this about Happy?"
She rolled her eyes and cursed Chibs. "We hung out last night. Things went alright." She explained with a shrug. "It is what it is."
Bobby sighed as he thought about his daughter possibly seeing the Tacoma Killer. He just couldn't wrap his kind around that. Shaking his head he looked at her seriously. "Be careful." Was all he said.
The sound of Clay calling out to SAMCRO to mount up broke them from their conversation. It was time to say goodbye and neither one wanted to.Denni held back tears as she said goodbye to her father. "Call me when you get home." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck like she used to when she was little.
Bobby chuckled as he hugged her tight. "I will, sweetheart. You stay safe and slow down." He warned. "If you need anything, call Lee."
She nodded as she pulled away and gave him a flash of her smile. "Love ya, pops."
Bobby gave her a wink and mounted his bike. "Love you too, Denni."
She took a step back as they all brought their motorcycles to life. She gave them all a big smile as she waved them off and watched as they left the lot one by one.
After the last time left the lot she let out a long breath and finally let a tear fall. She'd be lying if she said she didn't miss having them around. Sighing she turned towards the garage to tell Lee she was heading out when she saw Happy bent over an engine. She smiled as she seemed to be drawn towards him.
"Hey, killer." She said with a flash of her smile. She leaned against the side of the car as she crossed her arms over her chest.
He peered over the carburetor he was cleaning and gave her a little wink. "What's up, little girl?"
"Since we got interrupted last night, you wanna get lunch?"
Happy didn't have to think about it. He wiped his hands on a rag and moved around the car. As he moved by her, his hand went to her hip and dropped a chaste kiss to her lips. "Let me get cleaned up." He said, before leaving her with red cheeks and a smile a mile wide.
"Did that just happen?" She said to herself as she watched him walk to the clubhouse.
