Chapter 7 : Hans Found Me

ELSA'S POV

The guard didn"t try and stop me, but let me push past him.

I ran out, I had to get home to Anna, I wouldn't let anything happen to her, she was the only thing I had left.

Astrid and Hiccup saw me run out and hurried to catch up with me.

" Elsa," Astrid called after me, but I didnt stop. They were both right behind me as I headed to leave the UTM. Astrid grabbed onto my arm pulling me to a stop.

"Elsa! " she said again, " What happened? You look like you saw a ghost! "

Realizing I had shoved off my two best friends, I felt terrible, " I'm sorry guys, but Hans threatened Anna if I didn't pay him back by the end of the month. "

" Why do you owe money to Hans anyways? " Hiccup asked me.

" I got caught by the cops the other day, things got messy, and Anna ended up borrowing money from Hans to pay my bail, " I quickly explained to them.

" Okay, that shouldn't be to bad, how much do you owe him? " Astrid questioned.

" About 10,000 dollars. "

They both stared at me with their mouths open and didn't say a thing. After they didn't respond, I started to walk away. They started walking again to keep up with me.

" So, how do you intend to pay him back? " Astrid asked me.

" Ummm, not completely sure so far, I just want to get home and make sure Anna is okay. I will probably just do what I do best, pickpocket. "

" Elsa, are you crazy? You can't pickpocket 10,000 dollars off people in 3 weeks! " Astrid looked at me like I had lost my mind.

" What else am I supposed to do? " I asked stopping again just before I reached the door to leave.

" Actually... I may have a better way, " Hiccup said quietly, while giving me a shy smile.

" Well? Spit it out, " Astrid said, she was always trying to get Hiccup from being shy.

Hiccup looked up to me, " You might not like it... "

" I am open to any options right now, " I said feeling very overwhelmed.

" I know this guy who will help you pull a theft for a price, I've heard he's really good and will make sure no one gets caught. "

" Really? Could you maybe set up a meeting with him for me? " I asked.

Hiccup's face lit up, " Sure! " he always loved helping out.

" Thanks, you're the best, " I said and gave him a quick hug. " Well, I got to go now, see you guys tomorrow. "

I turned the door knob, but stopped when Astrid grabbed my hand.

" Wait, do you want us to come with you? I mean, if Hans threatened Anna, you could be in danger too. "

" Its all right, I'll be fine, its not a far walk anyway, " I said giving her a reassuring smile, but I don't think she bought it.

" Okay what ever you say, see you tomorrow, " Astrid waved goodbye to me.

" I'll set the appointment up for 11:30, is that okay with you? " Hiccup asked.

" Perfect, bye. "

I opened the door and walked up the stairs in the dim hallway, I made my way back to Platform 26, making sure no trains were coming this time. I got out of the subway and started walking to Rapunzel's house, or as we like to call her, Punzie.

It was about 11:30 at night, so basically no one was outside in the back roads where I was walking, but of course the main ones were almost as busy as in the day. It was a nice night, no clouds in the dark sky, but it was chilly outside, although I was never really bothered by it. Ever since my parents death, it's seems as if the only thing I could let in was the cold, I kept myself very guarded, caution of whose who get too close.

As I got to the door, I was just about to knock, when door swung open before my fist could hit it.

" Hello Elsa, " Mother Gothel said to me, " I had a feeling you would be coming, " she opened the door for me to come in, " Rapunzel and Anna are upstairs. "

" Thank you, " I said as I walked across the big circular front room to the stairs that curved open wards on the side of the wall. I wasn't a big fan of Gothel, she always seemed too overprotective and she always insisted that we call her 'Mother Gothel' even though she was our aunt, but she was family, so what can we do. She barely let Rapunzel do anything, besides going to school, but she wasn't aloud to take the bus, Gothel always brought her and picked her up.

Their house is so weird, it's more like a tower then a house, the stairs were 4 stories high, leading to nothing else, but Rapunzel's room. It was extremely annoying if you accidentally left something downstairs.

I finally got to the top of the stairs and opened the door to Punzie's room, Anna and her were sitting on the hardwood floor quietly whispering to each other.

" Hey, what's up? " I said as I came to sit on the floor with them.

" H-Hi Elsa, " Punzie looked up at me, looking scared to death.

" What's wrong? " I asked, suddenly getting worried by the look Punzie had on her face.

Anna still hadn't said anything to me, which was very unusual.

" Anna? What's the matter? " I asked again turning to face her.

I looked down at her arm which she was holding close to her chest. I gasped and placed my hands over my mouth.

" What happened? " I asked Anna even though I knew the answer.

" Hans found me... "
